Big Bones Maine Coons and Newfies

Hi, I'm Dwayne! My wife, Rachel, and I run Big Bones Maine Coons and Newfies. We love Newfoundlands and strongly believe every home should have a Newfie! They're the perfect family dog. We're located in Shermans Dale, in rural Perry County, central Pennsylvania. All of these puppies are raised in our home. No really, they're in the house. The have constant socialization opportunities. Their parents, Daisy and Cerberus, live with us (they're our babies). We also have a Golden Retriever, a Saint Bernard, and a 9 month-old Newfie, so the pups are exposed to many types and sizes of adult dogs. We also have many cats - some Maine Coons (as our name suggests) as well as Standard Issue Cats (many of them rescues). We have a large family (five kids, ranging from 14-22) and all of us spend basically our whole day with these pups. It's hard not to, as they're mainly in the kitchen and dining room of our house. Is this hectic? OMG yes. But so much fun! We've been wanting to do this for years and have finally been blessed with the opportunity. The mom, Daisy, is AKC registered and the father, Cerberus, is ACA, meaning they can't be AKC registered. However - and this is a big however - unless you're looking for a show dog or to be a member of the AKC community, our dogs are exactly what you want. The parents are both genetically-tested with Embark and are certified 100% Newfoundland. They are also free of any genetic issues and their COI (which is coefficient of inbreeding) is very low. These are all terms you may not know and we can provide more information if you wish, up to and including the parents' Embark results. We'd be happy to discuss this with you and convince you that the piece of paper you get from AKC registration is worth far less than what we can provide.
