Vivace Vizslas

Jill Ahrens is the owner of Vivace Vizslas and is located in the beautiful driftless region of South Western Wisconsin. Vivace [viv -ah-chay] is an Italian musical term meaning “fast and lively”. Rob’s parents were responsible and reputable breeders of Collies and Shelties in Prairie du Chien. Rob later owned his first Vizsla he named Romeo as their bond hooked Rob on this great breed. When searching for a rescue Vizsla, Rob and Jill found those of this breed were adopted too fast to acquire one. Prayerfully, they sought out reputable breeders and were impressed with Denise and Ron Chenoweth of Countryside Kennel & Resort. Upon meeting their litter of pups from sire CK Rebel Rouser ET’s Born Again “Elvis” & dam CK Touchdown TNT Tina, a certain little female pup licked Jill’s face, and the rest is history...Liberty chose us and became a part of our family. Liberty has been our constant companion in life adventures, being a therapy dog, staring in theatre productions, countless hikes, and vacations around the United States. In January of 2025, Reggie stole Jill’s heart simply from a facebook post by Northern Hazen Vizslas. Upon checking with the breeders, the bloodline was AKC pure and strong. Reggie became our newest family member and adventurer.
