Hi! We're Theresa and Sean, the owners of Havanese Acres in Hawthorne, Florida.
Our puppies are raised right here in our home and on our family farm, where they're loved on daily from the moment they're born. We aren't a large kennel—we intentionally keep our program small so that every puppy gets the individual attention, socialization, and care they deserve.
We've been involved with Havanese for over 15 years through my mom's breeding program and eventually started Havanese Acres because we fell in love with the breed and wanted to continue producing healthy, happy companions. Our focus is on temperament, health, and preserving everything that makes the Havanese such a wonderful family dog.
All of our breeding dogs undergo OFA health testing, and we carefully plan each litter with the goal of producing puppies that are not only beautiful, but also confident, affectionate, and well-adjusted. We spend a lot of time getting to know our puppy families because finding the right forever home is just as important to us as raising the puppies themselves.
When you bring home a puppy from Havanese Acres, you're not just getting a puppy—you're becoming part of our extended family. We love receiving updates, celebrating milestones, and being a resource throughout your dog's life.

Welcome to Havanese Acres, a small family-run breeding program nestled on our family farm in beautiful Hawthorne, Florida. We are Theresa and Sean, and raising happy, healthy, well-socialized Havanese puppies is truly a labor of love.
Our puppies are raised right in the middle of our everyday lives—not in a kennel or isolated environment. They grow up surrounded by a busy household, regular visitors, children, and plenty of activity, helping them develop into confident, adaptable companions.
Life on our farm is full of adventures! In addition to our Havanese, our family includes two Great Danes, a Jack Russell Terrier, two cats, horses, goats, chickens, and bunnies. From an early age, our puppies are exposed to a variety of sights, sounds, animals, and experiences that help prepare them for life with their future families.
We are passionate about producing puppies with excellent temperaments, sound health, and the loving personalities that make the Havanese breed so special. Our dogs are cherished members of our family, and every puppy receives daily handling, socialization, and affection before joining their forever home.

🐾 Puppy Update from Havanese Acres 🐾
Our sweet Havanese puppies are officially 3 weeks old! They are growing quickly, becoming more active, and showing off their adorable little personalities every day. This week has been full of puppy snuggles, wobbly adventures, and lots of quality time with mom.
Raised in our busy family home, our puppies are handled daily and are already getting used to being touched all over, held, cuddled, and having their tiny nails trimmed. Early positive experiences help build confidence and prepare them for grooming, veterinary visits, and life with their future families.
We currently have puppies available and they will be ready to join their forever families on July 10th. We are so excited to watch them continue to grow and can't wait to see the special bonds they form with their new families.
