My pups are raised in love at the side of my bed.
I try to walk firmly but gently so they learn to walk beside me and maybe they do not get stepped on, and when they do, it is gentle. They learn the word no when it comes to biting and licking. All this comes from raising puppies, which I love, for the past 50 plus years.
