At H&H Chow Chows, our dogs are raised in a balanced environment that blends structured outdoor space with true home living. Our primary breeding dogs live in our home and on our small acreage, where they are treated as family members and are part of daily life. This allows them to be well-socialized, confident, and comfortable with household routines, people, and everyday activity. We also provide secure outdoor access through multiple doggy doors, giving our dogs the freedom to move between indoor and outdoor spaces at their comfort and pace. This setup encourages natural behavior, exercise, and enrichment throughout the day. For planned pairings and breeding purposes, we utilize our dedicated outdoor kennel area, a 20 ft by 40 ft secure enclosure. This space is designed specifically for comfort, safety, and privacy during breeding and short-term housing needs. Our approach is centered on freedom within structure. Our dogs are never confined to isolated kennel living — instead, they enjoy a lifestyle that combines the safety of managed spaces with the freedom of a home-based, social environment. This balance helps ensure our Chow Chows are well-adjusted, healthy, and raised in a setting that reflects both responsible breeding practices and genuine family integration.
