Leanne Pearson is the breeder behind Choice Red Standards, where raising well-rounded, loving Standard Poodles is a true passion. While Choice Red Standards is still small and personal — with only two carefully planned litters raised so far — every puppy is given extensive time, attention, and individualized care from the very beginning.
Our focus is not on quantity, but on producing healthy, confident puppies with wonderful temperaments that will thrive as beloved family companions. Each puppy is raised in our home using Puppy Culture methods, a program designed to support healthy emotional and social development during the critical early weeks of life.
From an early age, our puppies are introduced to a variety of experiences including gentle desensitization exercises, grooming exposure, car rides, household sounds, and positive human interaction. These early experiences help build confidence, adaptability, and resilience as the puppies prepare for life with their future families.
At Choice Red Standards, we believe that raising exceptional puppies begins long before they go home. Our goal is to provide every puppy with a strong foundation, plenty of love, and the best possible start in life. ❤️🐩

At Choice Red Standards, our puppies are raised in a loving, hands-on environment designed to encourage confidence, socialization, and healthy development from the very beginning. They spend time both indoors and outdoors each day, giving them a wonderful balance of comfort, stimulation, and play.
Our puppies have a safe indoor area where they are surrounded by daily household activity and regular human interaction. This helps them become comfortable with everyday sounds, routines, and people of all ages. They also enjoy a spacious outdoor pen where they can explore, play, and build confidence in a secure environment.
In addition, the puppies have supervised time in our large backyard where they can run, play, and interact freely while continuing to develop coordination, curiosity, and social skills. We believe early experiences and positive interaction are an important part of raising happy, well-adjusted companions.
