Meet your new handsome little man. This little boy is affection that you can hold. Little Kingsley comes to his new home with all of the extras that you would expect from a well bred dog. He comes to his new home eligible for an AKC pet registration, and a frame-able litter certificate showing his heritage. He also comes to your home UTD on all necessary shots and wormings. I follow a strict protocol of preventative worming for his health and your peace of mind. We worm our puppies at 2,3,4,6,and 8 weeks of age. We work extensively with each pup that we raise to try to make sure they come to you mentally, emotionally, and physically at their best potential. We begin them on housebreaking as soon as they start to walk, and set up a large play pen full of educationally stimulating toys that they can interact with. We work with them to get them used to common household sounds like vacuum cleaners, garbage disposal, and doorbells. Our pups are started on crate training during the night hours. Your pup comes to your home eating "Native" brand puppy formula dog food. We will send along a small bag of this for them to transition to whatever food you choose to feed them. All of our pups come to your home with an AKC CAR (Companion Animal Recovery) Microchip already in place for their safety and your peace of mind. We have our Veterinarian check our pups prior to departure to ensure their UTD health when they come to your home. Pups come with tails docked to breed standards, and dew claws removed. We also provide new families a flash drive of pictures documenting your puppy's first 8-9 weeks of life that they spent with us. We place a lot of love and care into our babies and do our very best to give you the best all around pup you can get. Pups from this litter will be available for pickup on May 20. Kingsley's Newborn weight was 4.7 oz. His weight on 3/27 was 7.9 oz. We expect him to mature around 5-7 lbs. This is not a "guarantee", but a good guess based on his Mommy and Daddy's size. Are Toy Poodles safe around children?
Toy Poodles are generally excellent with children of all ages. They are good with children, since they love to play and have an abundance of energy, but care should be taken with smaller children so there is no rough play. Can Toy Poodles keep up with an active lifestyle?
A toy poodle typically needs around 30 minutes to 1 hour of exercise per day, which can be achieved through short walks, playtime with interactive toys, and indoor activities, ensuring to avoid strenuous exercises that could strain their small joints; aim for shorter walks and prioritize mental stimulation due to their active and intelligent nature. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
Is a Toy Poodle a good choice for someone with allergies?
The Toy Poodle’s frizzy, wooly coat does not shed, making them ideal pets for people with allergies, so you can put away the Benedryl.
