About AKC Minnie
All listing information is self-reported. Verify information before conducting business. Learn more here
Minnie is a sweet Black & white with Tan, Long Coat Girl. At least I think she is a long coat. If you look at one of her pictures you will see the ears on her side and know how she got her name. Her pictures were taken on 11/29/25 and he weighed 1.1lb. I will update pics every 2 weeks. I anticipate she will weigh around 5-6lbs grown. She is from AKC Champion Lines. Her mom is a Black & Tan with Irish markings, smooth coat cutie weighing 5 lbs. Dad weighs 6 lbs, is Black & Tan Long Coat and is Champion Sired. Both Parents have been health tested. I am happy to share those results. Minnie has had her Dew Claws removed, will be wormed regularly, will have 1 NeoPar, 1 NeoVac DA2 and a 5 way vaccine. She will be Vet checked shortly before going home. She will come with her AKC puppy registration papers. She will also have dual APRI papers with a 3 generation pedigree. My babies are raised in my home so they are very social. I am happy to drive 2 hours to meet at no charge, you may come to Emory, Tx to pick her up or a puppy nanny can deliver her to your nearest major airport at your expense. A $300 non-refundable deposit will hold Minnie until she is ready to leave me at 10 weeks.

About Chihuahua Puppies
What makes Chihuahuas special?
These pint sized pooches aren’t short on smarts! While they make lovable and devoted lapdogs, Chihuahuas possess a ninja-like agility, graceful demeanor, and bravery that sometimes gets them into trouble. Full-grown, they typically weigh 2-6 pounds and stand 5-8 inches tall.
Can Chihuahuas live with cats and other dogs?
Chihuahuas are generally not the best fit for families with young kids. Chihuahuas can usually live with other dogs and cats without problem. Socializing the Chihuahua as a puppy is essential to prevent overt aggressiveness and avoiding World War III with other pets in your house. They're very vocal and bark quite a lot.
Are Chihuahuas high-energy dogs?
Chihuahuas can usually get all the exercise they need by running around indoors. If the dog becomes a little chubby, put on the Tai Bo DVD and get down! Actually, these dogs should be allowed to walk everywhere until the desired weight is reached. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
What should I expect with Chihuahua shedding?
Chihuahuas can have a long or short coat and come in a wide variety of colors, including sand, chocolate, silver, chestnut, and even blue. A plethora of patterns including sable and masks are also a possibility. It’s this very variety of possibilities makes classification so difficult. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Are Chihuahuas a good fit for apartment living?
Chihuahuas are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Socializing the Chihuahua as a puppy is essential to prevent overt aggressiveness and avoiding World War III with other pets in your house. They are moderately trainable with consistent effort.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.

A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
