This little guy is a Cavapoo x Mini Goldendoodle - mostly Poodle with a splash of Cavalier and Golden Retriever, and he came out with every ounce of personality all three breeds had to offer. He will mature around 20-25 lbs and he is already living his best life at 9 weeks old.
Let’s be honest with you, because that’s how we do things at Porchlight: this puppy is vocal. Like, very vocal. He has opinions, he shares them freely, and he does not care what time it is. He is not anxious - he is just deeply invested in whatever is happening and wants to be part of it. He has decided the crate is beneath him, not because he’s scared, but because everyone else is out there doing things and he also wants to be doing things. He will settle - especially once he’s worn out - but he will absolutely let you know his feelings about it first.
Here’s the flip side of all that big energy: the moment you pick him up, he melts. Bouncing off the walls one second, statue-still and calm in your arms the next. He loves kids, loves other dogs, has zero food sensitivities, and is completely unbothered by new sounds, new places, or new adventures. He is confident, curious, and ready to go wherever you go.
This puppy belongs with an active family - someone who wants a dog that comes with them, not one that waits at home. He will be your shadow, your road trip co-pilot, your chaos gremlin, and your best snuggle when the day is done. He’s already started on potty training with a Timothy hay pellet box and is making progress like the smart boy he is.
