Davita and Bear have welcomed the eagerly awaited 2nd litter. Beautiful shades
of reds, well worth the wait! We have 2 girls & 1 boy Red
Tris left available.
Ian is a super sweet low drive, smart & playful medium sized Red
Tri with an almost full white collar boy. He is shaping up to be a great service dog prospect. He will be registerable with ASCA.
There's a lil Las Rocosa, Heartfire,Peppertree,Twin Oaks in our lines. A $200 deposit will hold
him for you. He is ready for his forever home as
of 3/23/25. In person visits before that time will
be welcomed and encouraged.:) And if coming to
meet the whole family(human & dog) in person is
not a possibility then ground transport can be
arranged. Currently ground transport is the best option, air transport could be via a flight nanny. An additional $100, which includes
vet certification and travel crate would be added
to pup price. Transport fee determined by mileage
and paid directly to them on delivery. Uship
or Citizenshipper are ones I would use. Payment in
full will be expected before date of departure.
Tails have been done. He has had a
vet check and up to date with
worming. We feed them Diamond Naturals puppy with
rolled oats, kelp powder, slippery elm bark powder
and fresh raw goat's milk warmed up for lil
tummies. There is minerals in their fresh water
at all times. All are doing very well and learning
new things everyday. Crate training underway! Pad training & litter box in progress, this is a smart group! Seems to be some
pretty good off switches already, they have plop
figured out. They were born in and are being
raised in the kitchen right in the middle of daily
life on the farmstead.:) We will have venture outdoors
to explore and meet the goats, chickens and play
in the snow. We will have gone on car rides for some of
our adventures. They are loved on constantly
pretty much and played with by all age groups, yes
lil grandkids, big kids, moms and dads and even
seniors too. Anyone who stops by is 'required' to
visit the pups;) They are having playtime daily
with the big dogs too. Our goal is to give our
pups the best possible start and have them ready
for anything that their future has in store for
them, whether thats helping with chores, moving
livestock(comes naturally for momma), agility,
frisbee, search and rescue, service dog, roundin
up kids, sharing the couch(comes naturally for
papa) or just being there for the hugs they love
to give. Please give Kathy a call to talk Aussie
and schedule a visit, request more pics or just to
ask questions @ 906-477-3044. *Please leave a
message, I may have my hands full :)* Email is ok
however phone calls will be the best. Breeding
rights can be discussed. They are an additional
$200. Price posted is for a pet spay/neuter
contract.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Australian Shepherd Puppies
About Australian Shepherd Puppies
What are Australian Shepherds known for?
Australian Shepherds are a beautiful breed with merle coats, high energy, and and an obsession with being close to their families. These dogs are wonderful family companions, but be prepared to keep them active and occupied to avoid having a sad, destructive Aussie. Full-grown, they typically weigh 40-65 pounds and stand 18-23 inches tall.
Do Australian Shepherds do well in a busy household?
Australian Shepherds are generally excellent with children of all ages. Australian Shepherds are great companion for kids and other pets, especially if they’re socialized as puppies. These dogs can be happy in warm or cool climates, but they need plenty of space to run and play and should have their primary living space indoors. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
Do Australian Shepherds need a lot of physical activity?
Aussies need a lot of high-energy activities and mental stimulation to keep them happy. They’re the perfect exercise buddies, especially for families that like being outdoors. Take your Australian Shepherd for a run, hike, or a long play session in a big backyard to keep their hearts soaring and their minds sharp. Overall, their exercise needs are very high.
Are Australian Shepherds high-maintenance when it comes to grooming?
The Australian Shepherd has a dense undercoat and outer coat with medium to long hair that’s straight or slightly wavy. Aussies’ fur is short and soft on their head and legs, with a thick mane around the neck. These dogs can be black, red, red merle (dark patches on a light background), or blue merle, and some may have white markings or tan points too. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Do Australian Shepherds need a big yard?
Australian Shepherds are best suited for a home with a yard, though they can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise. These dogs can be happy in warm or cool climates, but they need plenty of space to run and play and should have their primary living space indoors. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
