Rehoming: Tiny Red Toy Poodle (<1 Year Old) - LA Koreatown 1. Basic Information Breed: Red Toy Poodle. Size: Very small, weighing approximately 6–7 lbs. Registration: She is AKC registered to the breeder. I never transferred the registration to my name because I had no intention of breeding her. Reason for Rehoming: Due to unexpected personal circumstances, I am looking for a loving new home for her. 2. Personality Social & Friendly: She genuinely loves people. When we go for walks, she is very eager to hang out and play with other dogs. She should get along well with other pets. Energy: Since she is still under a year old, she is playful and has puppy energy. However, she also has a sweet side and loves relaxing and lounging near her owner. 3. Vet Records & Health Status: She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Documentation: I have all physical documents and medical records to hand over to the new owner. 4. Potty Training (Important Details) Current Setup: She is trained to use potty pads. The "Walking" Habit: She uses the pad perfectly for peeing. However, when she poops, she has a habit of walking forward while she goes. Because of this movement, she often misses the pad, and the poop ends up on the floor nearby. Maintenance: I have been picking it up after her since she usually leaves it right near the pad, but I want to be transparent about this habit. 5. Ideal New Home Family Household: A family household is preferred. She will likely need extra attention and care while getting used to a new environment. Yard Preference: She may thrive in a home with a yard where she can go potty outside, which would resolve the "walking poop" issue. Training: I live in an apartment, so she has not been trained for the outdoors. Outdoor potty training is not mandatory, but if you prefer she goes outside, you will need to lead that training yourself. 6. Rehoming Fee & Premium Supplies Rehoming Fee: $500. This is to ensure she goes to a committed and responsible home. Included Premium Supplies (Total value exceeds $1,300+): Fable Signature Crate: A high-end wooden furniture-style crate (Retails around $800). Premium Daybed: Her favorite bed (Retails around $300). Airline-Approved Carrier: A high-quality carrier (Retails around $200). Walking Gear: Leash, collar, and a large supply of unused potty bags. Essentials: All her toys, food, snacks, and remaining potty pads. 6. Location & Meeting Location: Pick-up in LA Koreatown. Process: I am happy to arrange a time for you to meet her first before you make a final decision. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Poodle - Toy Puppies
What's it like owning a Toy Poodle?
The Toy Poodles are a springy breed, bursting with energy and playfulness. They are obedient, smart, and sensitive and have a knack for finding trouble. Full-grown, they typically weigh 4-6 pounds and stand 9-10 inches tall.
Are Toy Poodles safe around children?
Toy Poodles are generally excellent with children of all ages. They are good with children, since they love to play and have an abundance of energy, but care should be taken with smaller children so there is no rough play. They make great watchdogs, so intruders will likely think twice before entering your home uninvited. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
Can Toy Poodles keep up with an active lifestyle?
A toy poodle typically needs around 30 minutes to 1 hour of exercise per day, which can be achieved through short walks, playtime with interactive toys, and indoor activities, ensuring to avoid strenuous exercises that could strain their small joints; aim for shorter walks and prioritize mental stimulation due to their active and intelligent nature. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
Is a Toy Poodle a good choice for someone with allergies?
The Toy Poodle’s frizzy, wooly coat does not shed, making them ideal pets for people with allergies, so you can put away the Benedryl. They do require regular grooming and if not shaven carefully, can get rashes or skin irritations. Occasional grooming with a professional groomer will keep your Toy Poodle looking and feeling great. Grooming-wise, this breed is fairly high-maintenance. Toy Poodles are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
How much space does a Toy Poodle need?
Toy Poodles are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Toy Poodles are an indoor breed and do well in apartment life. They make great watchdogs, so intruders will likely think twice before entering your home uninvited. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
