Hi, my name is Brodie! I am an adorable Shih-Tzu and Toy Poodle mix with a beautiful white champagne-colored curly coat. I am hypoallergenic and non-shedding, making me a wonderful companion for many families. I may be the ultimate lap dog, but I also love adventures and being wherever my people are. My tail is always wagging, and I enjoy following my humans around because I'm afraid I might miss out on something fun! I am affectionate, loving, and known for giving the sweetest butterfly kisses. Brodie got his name - because he reminds me of the Goodle-doodle on Facebook named Brodie. Although, no worries our Brodie is a Shihpoo. lol. I have been vet-checked and will come with a health certificate, along with copies of my genetic testing. I am up to date on all vaccinations, have been de-wormed, tested negative for parasites, and have received Capstar and Advantage flea and tick prevention. My veterinarian says my siblings and I are among the cutest and healthiest puppies he has ever seen! I am being raised in a loving home with my real mommy and daddy, who are cherished family pets and thoroughly spoiled with love. Because of this, I am well-socialized and comfortable around people and other animals. Many of my siblings have gone on to become therapy dogs, and my human mommy believes I would make an exceptional therapy companion as well. I am calm, gentle, and not much of a barker. In fact, I am the calmest puppy in the litter and would happily curl up in your lap for hours. I would thrive in almost any living situation, whether it's a family home or an apartment. I recently visited the groomer and received rave reviews for being adorable and exceptionally well-behaved. I didn't even mind having my nails trimmed! You can change my name if you'd like—I don't mind. More than anything, I am looking for a family who will love me unconditionally, and I promise to return that love with endless loyalty, cuddles, butterfly kisses, and companionship. Our puppies are raised in our home, not a barn or kennel, with their parents and lots of love. Both parents are DNA testing and do not have any health problems. You will be given copies of parent testing when you take your puppy home. Videos are available and I do not do touch ups with photos. I am not a professional photographer. LOL. I do my best. As a breeder, I am always available for support and will help you with any questions you have when bringing your new puppy home. Puppies are sold strictly on spay/neuter contract ONLY, No Exceptions. Please discuss adoption with all family members and and be sure they are all on board for adoption prior to calling to discuss puppies. No third party adoptions. We only have one litter a year. We pride ourselves on having healthy puppies. I will warn you though, if you adopt one puppy from us... most likely you will come back for a second one. LOL We will not have another litter until next year ***We do not place puppies in their forever homes until after they are 8 weeks old, as we believe staying with their mother during this time is essential for healthy development and proper temperament. **** Each puppy comes with Travel crate, bed or blanket, travel bag, tooth-brush, new bowls, starter bag of food, new leash and collar, hair accessory, puppy pads and toys. ****

Frequently Asked Questions
About Shihpoo Puppies

What's the personality of a Shihpoo?
With mixed genes from a Shih Tzu and Poodle, it’s no wonder the Shihpoo is such a loving, sweet dog. These little guys adore people and will do just about anything to be with them. They don’t need much exercise or grooming, but they’ll take as much attention as they can get. Full-grown, they typically weigh 8-18 pounds and stand 8-18 inches tall.
Are Shihpoos good family dogs?
Shihpoos are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. These dogs get along well with children but prefer older kids who are more gentle. They also make good friends for other family dogs and cats. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
What's the best way to exercise a Shihpoo?
Shihpoos don’t need much exercise to stay happy and healthy. They usually get enough activity just by playing with their family. If you want to take your Shihpoo out, they enjoy going for walks or playing around in the grass. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
What's the coat like on a Shihpoo?
The Shihpoo’s coat will range from curly to wavy to straight, depending on whether their Shih Tzu or Poodle genes are stronger. Normally, it’s curlier than the Shih Tzu but not as curly as the Poodle's. Their fur doesn’t shed much, so normal brushing or professional grooming will keep these dogs looking their best. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate.
What should first-time owners know about Shihpoos?
Shihpoos are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. At 7-20 pounds, the Shihpoo is a great fit for apartments or houses. If they have a yard to play in, make sure your Shihpoo primarily lives indoors so they can be around people. They are can be stubborn and challenging to train.

Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.

Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods

Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
