About Butterscotch

Butterscotch is a tiny Pominese (Peek-a-Pom). She may be the runt of the litter, but this little gal has the biggest personality of them all. She is a true fireball of energy as she hops, bounces, and playfully tackles her siblings with fearless enthusiasm. What she lacks in size, she makes up for in pure joy and confidence.
Her tail is almost always wagging, and her whole body wiggles when she’s happy. Butterscotch brings light and laughter wherever she goes. She thrives on interaction, loves to play, and keeps everyone entertained with her spirited nature.
And when playtime winds down? She transforms into the sweetest cuddle bug. Butterscotch gives endless soft kisses and happily soaks up attention from her humans. She has been raised with plenty of human interaction and social time with her littermates, helping her grow into a well-socialized and affectionate companion. Potty paper-training is already in progress.
Butterscotch would do well in almost any family setting, whether in an apartment or a house, as long as she has love and playtime. Because of her small size and energetic personality, she would do best with older children who understand how to be gentle while enjoying her playful spirit.
Butterscotch has a plush double coat that will require regular grooming to keep her comfortable and looking her best. She will come home with her first puppy vaccinations and an Official Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (OCVI).
Butterscotch will be ready to start her next adventure on March 10th, at 8 weeks old. She is expected to be between 12 and 18 pounds when fully grown. You may pick her up in person, or we can meet you within a 60 mile radius of Saint Augustine, FL.
Tiny, mighty, and overflowing with happiness, Butterscotch is ready to wiggle her way right into her forever home.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.

A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
