💙 Why Chester Is So Special Chester is not just a pretty face — his temperament is exceptional. His father was an outstanding “bull-type” Basset Hound — solid, sturdy, well-structured, and very healthy. Chester is expected to mature into a strong, well-built, classic Basset Hound. More importantly, Chester has been raised with love, structure, and socialization, and it shows in everything he does. He is: • Extremely social, gentle, and well-mannered • Confident and calm in new environments • Friendly with both small and large dogs • Respectful of older dogs who want their space • Wonderful with children and strangers Chester absolutely adores kids — his favorite game is tag! He happily runs alongside them and playfully (and gently) grabs the back of a shoe, never rough or aggressive. Everyone who meets him falls in love instantly. He’s affectionately known as “Mr. Popularity” at my kids’ elementary school and gets attention everywhere he goes.
