This guy is a sweet heart. Price lowere to get him in new home for the holidays. This is the first cream dapple i have raised in 17+ years. He is a rare color. Ready to go to new home now. Handsome Cream Dapple possibly blue based. His nose looks blue but that is all on him showing blue. He currently weighs 9 lbs. He is out of 8 lb female and 9 lb male. He is stout and chunky. He might mature to under 11 or 12 lbs. Please CALL 660 553 1009 as I am not receiving messages thru puppyfind until days later. There is something wrong with this website not sending my messages. CASH ONLY ACCEPTED.
Thanks for considering one of our pups and check out reviews. I am not interested in selling puppy as a child's pet nor to someone that will leave pup alone all day. Dogs are pack animals and want to be with their pack. If you must leave for a few hours I hope you have a 2nd dog to keep puppy company. Not all Dachshunds are easy to house break when left alone all day and they won't be a happy dog. I will consider selling to hobby breeder but price much higher with AKC papers. Please read about the breed if you are not familiar with Dachshunds. Thank you for reading this post this far.
Call if interested as I am not interested in texting and sometimes I don't get notices til several days later that someone even messaged thru website. If you are a scammer don't bother texting or emailing. I already know of your paypal scam and send me code scams. Buyer will meet in person and exchange money. No cashier checks accepted or money orders. Must call and talk to me on the phone before I agree to sell him.

About Dachshund Puppies
About Dachshund Puppies
What should I know about Dachshunds before buying one?
A Dachshund may be short, but they’re long in body and personality. These dogs are stubborn and can be aggressive, but are extremely loyal, loving, and protective of their families. It takes patience to raise a Dachshund, but there are many rewards. Full-grown, they typically weigh 16-32 pounds and stand 8-9 inches tall.
Are Dachshunds friendly with strangers and kids?
Dachshunds are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. Dachshunds fit best in homes where they can live indoors with their pet parents. Families with smaller children may want to choose a different breed, as Dachshunds can be a little too feisty and aggressive toward kids, especially if they don’t understand how to treat a dog with respect. They're very vocal and bark quite a lot.
How do I keep a Dachshund physically active?
Dachshunds need exercise a few times a day. They’ll enjoy a brisk walk, and their little legs can actually carry them for quite a distance if you’ve got time for a longer stroll. In general, plan on allotting about 30 minutes of exercise per day. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
Do Dachshunds shed a lot?
Dachshunds actually come in three different coat types, wire-haired, long-haired, and smooth. For smooth-haired and long-haired Dachshunds, a weekly brushing will help clean their hair and cut back on shedding. For wire-haired Dachshunds, you’ll need to pluck or strip their hair about twice a year and trim their excess hair around their eyebrows and paws. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Do Dachshunds need a house with a yard?
Dachshunds are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Dachshunds fit best in homes where they can live indoors with their pet parents. They will act out and dig even more if left to their own devices full-time in your backyard. They are fairly easy to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
