I'm pleased to announce Darla and Quincey's beautiful litter of Min Schnauzer babies that were born on Wednesday May 18, 2022. They're available to reserve with a $200 non refundable deposit until they're ready to go at 8 weeks old on Wednesday July 13,2022. The deposit goes towards the purchase price of $700 with no AKC registration or $1000 with FULL AKC registration papers. Darla is an AKC registered Salt and Pepper Platinum colored girl that stands 12" at the shoulders and weighs 16 pounds. Darla's very affectionate, outgoing and loves everyone she meets. She doesn't have a hyper bone in little body, she's very gentle and loves to cuddle. Quincey is a Liver and White Parti AKC registered Min Schnauzer. He stands at 14" at the shoulders and weighs approx.16 pounds, Quincey is a happy loving boy that knows no stranger! I expect these babies to have the same type personality as their parents and about the same average size between the two of them, 14-18 pounds. These babies are hypoallergenic meaning that they won't shed or have pet dander that people with pet allergies are allergic to. Both of these breeds are very easy to take care of, they love to travel and be with you no matter what you're doing. Grooming requirements depend on the hairstyle you choose for your puppy. These babies have had their dew claws removed and their tails docked like a Min Poodle. I start deworming my puppies at 2 weeks old and continue that until they are 8 weeks. They get their first vaccination at 6 weeks old and again at 8 weeks before they go to their new homes. All of my puppies also come with a 1 year Health Guarantee, they are microchipped and also come with their Health Records and a Puppy Starter Kit that contains a baggy of their food, a new collar with the microchip tag attached to it and a new toy. They also come with a Life Time of Breeder Support, just because you purchase one of my puppies doesn't mean that you can't contact me with questions about your puppy. I'm always here to help and look forward to hearing from my customers and receiving updates and pictures of them. *****************Remember that all Oklahoma residents are required to pay state taxes on their puppy, dogs, cats and kittens. Frequently Asked Questions
About Yorkshire Terrier Puppies
How would you describe a Yorkshire Terrier?
The little Yorkshire Terrier thinks they're Great Danes, and like most terriers, are bold, brave, and independent. They are very intelligent and  develop deep bonds with their owners. Full-grown, they typically weigh 4-7 pounds and stand 8-9 inches tall.
Do Yorkshire Terriers do well in a busy household?
Yorkshire Terriers are generally excellent with children of all ages. Because of their diminutive stature, Yorkies are well-suited to apartment life, but households with young children are not recommended unless carefully supervised. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
How do I keep a Yorkshire Terrier physically active?
The Yorkshire Terrier can have most of their exercise needs met through indoor play, but they prefer a daily walk or romp in a fenced-in yard. They don't need much exercise, so don't wear your Yorkie out too much, but they will need to play with their families throughout the day. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
Do Yorkshire Terriers shed a lot?
Yorkies' coats can be a bit high maintenance, especially for those with the long, silky coat. Long coats require professional maintenance, including adding oil and wrapping the coats in rice or tissue paper, along with weekly washings. The Yorkshire Terrier has no undercoat, and they do shed a small amount. Grooming-wise, this breed is high-maintenance. Yorkshire Terriers are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
Can a Yorkshire Terrier live in an apartment?
Yorkshire Terriers are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Because of their diminutive stature, Yorkies are well-suited to apartment life, but households with young children are not recommended unless carefully supervised. They are fairly easy to train.
Shorkie
Frequently Asked Questions
About Shorkie Puppies
How would you describe a Shorkie?
The Shorkie is a mix between the Shih Tzu and the Yorkshire Terrier. Full-grown, they typically weigh 5-15 pounds and stand 6-14 inches tall.
How are Shorkies with other pets?
Shorkies are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. Shorkies may be leery of young children and young children must be taught how to properly interact with any dog. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
What activities do Shorkies enjoy most?
The Shorkie enjoys spending time with their owner. They enjoy short walks and/or play time in the yard. They are not very active dogs and enjoy their time indoors. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
Is a Shorkie a good choice for someone with allergies?
The coat of a shorkie is usually long and silky. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance. Shorkies are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
Do Shorkies need a big yard?
Shorkies are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They are can be stubborn and challenging to train.
