Pictures updated on Dec 15th. Elffie is an adorable light apricot to cream colored F1b shichon with a black nose. He loves to play but also is always up for some cuddle time on the couch. His favorite place is curled up on your lap or cuddled in your arms. He would make a wonderful companion for any age person or size of family. Mom is a lovable black F1 shichon. She weighs around 10 lbs. Dad is owned by a friend of mine. He is a white bichon that ranges between 10-14 lbs. The pups out of their last litter ranged from 9-14 lbs for the females and 12-16 lbs for the males. The biggest male though is free fed which is something I do not suggest because they will overeat and tend to get too fat if you let them, which can cause health problems in their elder years. Elffie is being raised indoors, around my two children, other dogs, and indoor cats on our farm. He is currently working on house and create training. He does great in a bathtub and with grooming. Introducing this at a young age imprints them with good habits as they get older. He will come home to you up to date on his puppy shots and de-wormings, with a puppy informational packet, written health guarantees, collar, leash, and toy. He will not be eight weeks until Dec 27th. He can go to his new home on the 27th as long as he is weighing at least 2 lbs. We are accepting deposits of $150 to hold him. We will not hold without a deposit. We do not accept checks (of any kind), apple pay, zelle, paypal, or cash app. We accept cash or Venmo. Deposits are nonrefundable unless something happens to him while in my care then you would receive the deposit back or transfer it to another puppy if available. So please make 100% sure you want him before placing a deposit on him. Text me with any questions you may have at 816-529-2783. We look forward to talking with you.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Shichon Puppies
What kind of dog is a Shichon?
The Shichon or Zuchon is a cross between the Bichon Frise and the Shih Tzu. This hybrid is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club as the Zuchon. Full-grown, they typically weigh 8-15 pounds and stand 9-12 inches tall.
Do Shichons get along with kids?
Shichons are generally excellent with children of all ages. The Scichon are easy-going and enjoy the companionship of their owners. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
What kind of exercise do Shichons need?
The Shichon does not require formal daily exercise. Routine play is sufficient though they do enjoy short walks with their owners. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
What kind of coat care does a Shichon require?
The coat of a Shichon is usually thick and sheds very little. The coat can come in a variety of lengths depending on which breed this dog's coat takes after. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance. Shichons are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
What should first-time owners know about Shichons?
Shichons are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They are fairly easy to train.
Puppy Buyer's FAQ
See Full Guide Here
Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
