Ellie Mae

Please reach out if you have an interest and want to be notified as backup. Ellie is my little diva and I love her to pieces, so I’ll be very selective about who gets my hug-a-bear! Her buttery soft, double thick black & white coat has silver and red highlights (absolutely gorgeous!). With her stocky little legs, chunky torso and the happiest little tail wag and usually a toy in her mouth when she greets you, she is 9 lbs of fun and cuddles. Wonderful temperament, she is on the mellow side and snuggles nicely in your lap but also loves to play. Miss Ellie Mae was spayed and had her teeth cleaned on 12/11. She recovered very quickly and is ready for her forever home. She enjoys everyone and is great with kids. Her ideal placement will be with a family who works from home, has older children or is retired and available to be with her more often than left alone. She has always had canine companionship, so having a canine friend would be another plus for her too, particularly if you work outside the home and have to leave her for several hours. In addition, she travels nicely in the car and loves people, so she will enjoy going places with you. She has a sweet temperament and tolerates grooming very well, so let her hair grow out and put it up in a top knot! She also wears clothes without a fuss, so dress her up! She already looks like she’s ready for a formal affair in her gorgeous black and white coat! Ellie is AKC registered and part of their Reunite program (includes a tag for her collar to reunite her with you if she were to go missing). She is pee pad trained, crate trained and uses our doggie door. She is current on vaccines, not needing boosters (or titer testing to see if boosters are needed) until Spring/Summer 2027.
