To see a video about Ewok, please visit: https://youtu.be/-qrZNf4P45w?si=DuvKKSwEmxDXlrBj Ewok is an absolutely gorgeous little guy with the sweetest personality. He is super loving and cuddly, and will make a wonderful family pet to the right family. Ewok is a Brindle Sable puppy, with an absolutely stunning. lush beautiful coat that has not yet been trimmed. Typical of the Shih Tzu breed standard, Ewok has an adorable little underbite that just adds to his character. Ewok was not born into our breeding program. His breeder was moving and asked me if I could please take him since their new home-owner's association would not allow for the number of dogs he had at the time. So we bought him and brought him into our home and began working with him. Below is a run-down of his progress and care while in our home: ** Although he was not potty-trained when we got him, he is now using our potty system perfectly. ** He has been getting handled and played with regularly by our children as well as getting more socialization with some of our puppies that we are raising as future parent dogs for our program. ** We have been working on desensitizing him to grooming, and he is now doing fantastic with all things grooming. When he first arrived here, he was very wiggly anytime we tried to do anything near his face or eyes, especially if you brought a comb near his eyes. Now, he allows us to hold and stroke his face, comb near his eyes, touch and trim near his eyes, etc, and he is a very easy groomer now! ** We feel he is ready for a new home now and cannot wait to find the perfect family for him. ** Although Ewok did receive one set of vaccinations before he came to us, he has been transitioned to our safe vaccine alternatives to minimize future exposure and prevent any more overdosing. Frequently Asked Questions
About Shih Tzu Puppies
Is a Shih Tzu the right dog for me?
The Shih Tzu is small, popular, and friendly, so what more could you ask for in a companion dog? Their intelligence and loyalty, along with their independence, will have you cuddling up with this bunch of cheerfulness in no time. Full-grown, they typically weigh 9-16 pounds and stand 9-11 inches tall.
Do Shih Tzus do well in a busy household?
Shih Tzus are generally excellent with children of all ages. Shih Tzus are indoor dogs who get along with other pets very well and love to cuddle in your lap, making them great family companions. You would never want to limit these small dogs to just the outdoors. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
Are Shih Tzus couch potatoes or do they need a lot of exercise?
Shih Tzu need short, daily walk but should also occasionally be exercised indoors. They do not adapt to hot weather very well, so they must be a primarily indoor dog. Care must be taken not to over or under exercise them as well. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
Is a Shih Tzu a good choice for someone with allergies?
Shih Tzus' long coat is somewhat high maintenance and requires everyday brushing to prevent tangles. These dogs should be taken to a professional groomer every couple of months. They are usually easier to maintain when their coats are clipped short, but you can't argue that those who have the long, dreamy coats are dramatic and eye catching. Grooming-wise, this breed is fairly high-maintenance. Shih Tzus are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
What should first-time owners know about Shih Tzus?
Shih Tzus are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Since they are small, this breed can adapt to apartment living or a big house. Shih Tzus are indoor dogs who get along with other pets very well and love to cuddle in your lap, making them great family companions. They are fairly easy to train.

Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
