Fat Joey

Fat Joey loves to eat. He got the nickname because he often nursed so much that he had milk coming out of his nose. He is affectionate with a very soft, fluffy coat. During his bath, blow dry, brushing, and haircut, Joey was incredibly brave and cooperative. He will probably be his future groomer's favorite client. It's finally time for Joey to find his forever family and we are excited for him. He is available for adoption, a little later than usual for our pups. We noticed early on that he lacked some bladder control, evidenced by a tiny but perpetual dribble of wee from his tiny little willy. The vet advised that sometimes pups with urinary incontinence grow out of such problems, but if not, then we could explore other options. So, we held him back and waited with our fingers and toes crossed that his little body would sort things out as he grew. We are thrilled that he did indeed naturally gain bladder control over time. Joey now holds his wee like a big boy, tinkling when and where he wants to. No surgery or medications required and no sign that he ever struggled in the bathroom department to begin with.
