The Shih Tzu, Shorkie is an affectionate and outgoing breed, boasts a distinct and engaging personality. Originating from Tibet, they were bred to be companions, making their temperament ideal for a variety of households. Hello, Please call or text I do not check emails often. 434 471 2887.
We have been breeding locally for about 10 years. We do have 2 owners and advertise on different sites. We breed German shepherds and yorkies but have recently added four American Eskimos and Shih Tzus to our breeding program. Our babies are socialized and loved with our other dogs. All puppies come with a breeder pack and will have their first shots with all deworming for their age. We take the time to love all the babies before they find there loving homes. The scams that have erupted in the last few years has made it that we can no longer take deposit for puppies but will put a puppy on hold for serious buyers. We offer reasonable delivery

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
