Gabriel

This is Gabriel, the largest, friendliest dog you’ll ever meet! We absolutely love our dogs, so giving Gabriel up to a new home is absolutely devastating for us. The truth is, we are having major financial problems right now and we can barely afford dog food right now. We NEED to be able to provide for our children, so tough choices have to be made. This decision has nothing to do with him being a disagreeable dog in ANY way! The most ideal situation would be Gabe and his sister Lucy going to the same home, as they have been together since birth. We understand this may not be possible. Gabriel is a purebred, AKC registered white German Shepherd. Gabriel is fully potty trained, and has been socialized his entire life around other dogs and children of all ages. Gabriel has NEVER had even a single incident of aggressive behavior. He does not have any food aggression either. (Thought that can change, for ANY dog, if you make them feel desperate for food and it’s not a sure thing.) He has absolutely NEVER been hit or abused in even the slightest way, and is a fully trusting, loving dog with zero behavior problems. He is NOT leash trained, as our country lifestyle did not require that! He was given all the puppy vaccines that were required, though he has not had any boosters in the last year as we could no longer afford to take him in (hence the rehoming.) Gabriel is used to the country and being free for a few hours each day. Given his huge size, he is not a good choice for an apartment dog. Although I see the hypocrisy in my words, we beg that someone with intent to keep him “forever” is our biggest wish. He is such a great dog and this decision is literally killing us!
