[SHORT FORM INFO: 8.5 MO Male / Blue Fawnequin / Cropped / Trained / Well Rounded / Docile / Easy Going / Kennel & Potty Trained / Great with kids!] Goose is a wonderful 8.5 month old boy. He is absolutely massive weighing in over both of his parents at this young age. Both his parents are still massive, but this fella is going to dwarf them! Goose was pick of his litter and is growing faster than all of his siblings. He has been through training classes, has had his ears done(by his original family), and has current rabies/vaccinations. Also comes with AKC DNA kit. I would very much like him to go to a loving home. The family who originally had him returned him to me because they had a newborn son that ended up taking up all of what would be Goose's time and they decided to do what's best for his life and quality of it by returning him to me. He was raised in their suburban home with their young daughter who would frequently walk him. He is great with other dogs, but plays too rough with small dogs such as chihuahuas to live with one. He treats cats well. Goose's original owner had interest in mentorship and breeding potential if he passed all of his OFA's and genetic testing. This is something I would still consider to the right person. I'd also be willing to offer breeding rights for an additional fee IF you were the right fit which I have a screening process to determine. Ultimately, Goose is such an incredible, well rounded boy. He is stunning in posture, stature, and stance. Though he is a true giant, he is as gentle as they come. He has even spent time in the terminal cancer ward comforting sick children with his former dad. Goose has had his ears done, and multiple training courses. You are getting a well established boy when you choose him. You also get to skip thr crazy puppy phase. He's at the perfect age to bond with you! He's a gem on car rides too! You can text me at 503.508.2009 for a quicker response if I don't reply here quick enough. I typically check this once per day in the mornings.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Great Dane Puppies
How would you describe a Great Dane?
Great Danes may seem intimidating, but inside their enormous bodies are even bigger hearts. Their size and loyalty make them good watch dogs, but intruders won’t realize their bark is worse than their bite. Although they appear energetic, Great Danes would rather grab a pillow indoors and relax by your side. Full-grown, they typically weigh 110-175 pounds and stand 28-32 inches tall.
Are Great Danes a good choice for families with kids?
Great Danes are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. Great Danes gets along well with children, other dogs, and household pets. Some Great Danes are dominant with other dogs of the same sex or have a high prey drive with small cats. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
Are Great Danes couch potatoes or do they need a lot of exercise?
This breed is fairly calm when young and needs a moderate amount of exercise when fully grown. Great Danes should be taken on a daily walk or allowed to play in a large, fenced yard where they can run and explore. They may seem like outdoor dogs, but their favorite spot is actually indoors where they can relax and be by your side. Overall, their exercise needs are very high.
Is a Great Dane a good choice for someone with allergies?
The Great Dane has a short, smooth coat that comes in several colors. Most dogs are fawn (gold with a black mask, ears, and tail tip), brindle (gold with a black stripe pattern), steel blue, glossy black, “Harlequin” (white with black patches), or “Mantle”/”Boston” (black with white muzzle, chest, and tail tip). This breed isn’t high maintenance when it comes to grooming. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Do Great Danes need a big yard?
Great Danes are best suited for a house with a good-sized yard. Great Danes gets along well with children, other dogs, and household pets. Due to their size, apartments and small spaces just aren’t practical for this breed. They are moderately trainable with consistent effort.
