These daring dogs love to chase animals, watch over their families, and go on adventures—especially sniffing out those sneaky squirrels in the backyard. Full-grown, they typically weigh 25-27 pounds and stand 18-20 inches tall.

Irish Terriers are generally excellent with children of all ages. Irish Terriers are not the easiest dogs to care for.
