With a long head, folded ears, and a strong jawline, the Irish Terrier may look sweet on the outside, but their fierce and brave inside. These daring dogs love to chase animals, watch over their families, and go on adventures—especially sniffing out those sneaky squirrels in the backyard. Full-grown, they typically weigh 25-27 pounds and stand 18-20 inches tall.

Irish Terriers are generally excellent with children of all ages. Irish Terriers are not the easiest dogs to care for. They can get along well with kids as long as they’ve been trained, but keep an eye on them around strangers. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.

Irish Terriers are high maintenance when it comes to activity. As a working breed, they need to be busy to stay out of trouble. Long walks, outside playtime, and training will help keep them calm and well behaved. Overall, their exercise needs are high.

Miniature Poodles are generally excellent with children of all ages. The Miniature Poodle gets along well with other animals, other dogs, and children. Poodles are highly adaptable and make good watchdogs. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.

The Miniature Poodle requires less exercise then the Standard Poodle, but should be walked or allowed to play outdoors. It should do fine with apartment life. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
