Honey is blessed with a luxurious downy cream coat, lighter underbelly and reddish ears. She is absolutely adorable… very sweet and loving, confident, responsive, and independent. She “sits” for treats starting a couple weeks ago and is good about using a potty pad inside and going outside (it’s been cold for little ones) We recently started calling her Nala because she looks like a little lion with her big head and shoulders, short little legs, and longer curled up tail. She can take her time moving and moves a bit like Ey-ore even though she’s happy. She is her mom’s favorite playmate; she gets down with a good tussle with her sibs too, but is also happy to do her own thing. She’s an interesting mix of Havanese (calm, short legs and silky straighter hair) and poodle (taller shoulders longer tail). The litter varied in color, overall shape and silhouette, sizes, hair types, and personalities. Havanese and Poodles both have hair (not fur) and don’t shed. She was born and raised in our home. While she has been corralled, she sleeps on the living room floor with her siblings and more recently at times with us. Her parents are our beloved pets. Dad’s parents were AKC registered Havanese sired by a AKC registered miniature poodle, mom by Havapoos. We are not professional breeders. Honey and her litter mates have stolen our hearts, but it’s time to find their forever homes. I have been home through every step with both moms and newborns attentively and lovingly but I need to go back to work. Both mom and dad are around 15 pounds, intelligent, affectionate, and not yappers. She had her first round of DA2PP, dewormer, at 8 weeks and due for a second at 12 weeks, when she will also be microchipped. She is well socialized, to people and animals. We have multiple other dogs in our household of various shapes and sizes, the largest being an old 120 pound Dogo (she is not afraid) and a cat, and we fostered a baby pig for a month once they were out of the whelping box that slept and nursed some alongside. She has been exposed to children. And adores my 6 year old grandson who is here multiple evenings a week. She would do best in a home where she would get lots of TLC by a variety of sources that love hers silky hair, but also has space to curl up on a floor vent, your lap or chest to recharge. She does enjoy going outside and taking time to smell the roses.
