We are located in Central Washington; Wilbur, Wa! We are 1.5 hours west of Spokane, and our small farm is home to our cows and chickens, and dogs, new and retired! We have 10 years of experience with raising Goldendoodle and puppies, and our last three years have been all about Bernedoodles! Our parent dogs who have taken this journey with us, have blessed families and organizations as beautiful working dogs, and precious family pets. As they grow up and age, our dogs live in retirement with us or with our adult kids! Current puppies: We have 4 older F1BB Bernedoodles available! Lola (our F1b Bernedoodle) and Barley (our AKC reg Standard Poodle) are the parents, and their sweet puppies were born in the fall of 2025. One was picked, but the family changed their mind. We are also trying to find good homes for 3 beautiful boys! They are rambunctious, loving and ready to adventure with you! We have discounted prices due to their age, and because we are overflowing with older dogs. We are taking a puppy break, and if you are looking for an older healthy puppy, this might be your lucky 🍀 day! OUR PUPPIES: Our puppies come with first vaccines (puppy shots and dewormer). We promise to replace a puppy with a vet diagnosed genetic illness in the first year. Our litter’s parents are healthy and loving pets, and they live with us, together. We ask for a $300 deposit, and our pick list is designed in the order of deposits received. Raising puppies brings us joy and challenge. In the past, we have had a year long waiting list for multiple litters, and our puppies were in high demand. Recently, we have had a season of struggle. We relocated with three litters, and due to circumstances beyond our control, had several families with unexpected or last minute changes of heart. Please consider adding an older Sun T Ranch cutie to your home! OUR CELEBRATIONS: We are so HAPPY for our past puppies who provide families with THE BEST family dogs! We have many return families and love updates that are shared with us! We have several puppies who have grown up to serve children as emotional support pals in schools and organizations! ♥️We have raised several SCHOOL DOGS who help children as they practice regulation skills and work through big emotions. Our puppies make perfect reading partners (they are great listeners) for children who struggle with reading skills♥️! One of our puppies has grown up to be a buddy for the Boy and Girl Scouts in the state of Montana! His specialty is providing comfort to homesick campers. We are so proud of our Sun T Ranch dogs who currently work hard for their owners as highly trained service dogs, helping with medical conditions and disabilities. ♥️ CONTACT US: You can reach us by following our farm blog Sun T Ranch on Facebook! We also have a website (although this is not my area of strength YET) http://suntranch.wordpress.com/ Or by phone (509)-439-1115, ask for Julie!

Frequently Asked Questions
About Bernedoodle Puppies
What's it like owning a Bernedoodle?
The Bernedoodle hybrid was developed by breeding Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodles. The Bernese Mountain Dog originated in Switzerland while the Poodle originated in Germany and France. Full-grown, they typically weigh 10-90 pounds and stand 10-29 inches tall.
Do Bernedoodles do well in a busy household?
Bernedoodles are generally excellent with children of all ages. When they are still young, Bernedoodles can be a little bit headstrong. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
Can Bernedoodles keep up with an active lifestyle?
Bernedoodles are a moderately active cross-breed. Daily walking, play, and interaction is recommended. Their natural gait is a slow trot, so walking a Bernedoodle should be easy for most people. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
What's the coat like on a Bernedoodle?
Bernedoodles are known for the hypoallergenic properties of their coats. Bernedoodle coats are typically wavy and curly, which results in minimal shedding. Curly coats require frequent brushing to prevent tangles, as well as periodic trimming. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate. Bernedoodles are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
Can a Bernedoodle live in an apartment?
Bernedoodles are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They are fairly easy to train.
Puppy Buyer's FAQ
See Full Guide Here
Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
