We are dancing on our toes in excitement! Please watch Animal Planet's Dogs 101 reruns (original air date, October 2010) to see little Indy who was born and raised here in our arms. We are honored to have Animal Planet request the presence of our dogs to be on their show. All of our babies are litter box trained using puppy litter and a litter box system before leaving us. Absolutely precious!! Males and females are $1550 for our purebred Cotons. Just "food for thought". I grew up in a home where we always had female dogs in the home - never a male. After reading many, many breed books it has been said over and over that the males are really the more devoted companions. So------ when my daughter fell in love with a little male born a few days early in the middle of Grandma's dining room floor I decided to do a little more research. The vets just graduating from the nation's top veterinarian schools have now been taught that early spaying and neutering is best for the puppy - fewer hormonal tendencies such as leg lifting, "humping", etc. Health benefits include reduction of cancer by up to 150 fold. My original lines of Coton parents were imported from Ukraine and as our lines have evolved, we now have welcomed linage from Italy, Hungary, Serbia and other areas around the world. These stunning imports make our lines what they are today. The parents are AKC registered. The litters of puppies are always registered with the AKC. Puppies arrive with a microchip implanted (we also charge you the $20 registration fee and personally fill out that registration form and send that in for you, then provide you with the certificate documenting this registration into the nationwide program). Regardless of registration status, you are getting a top quality, purebred, well taken care of, loved puppy. Health guaranteed! For those traveling solo, I do purchase a new kennel, food and water dishes as required by the airline, necessary kennel stickers, a moisture proof packet of health information, vet check forms, pedigrees if you want them, registration forms, etc, I obtain an additional vet check before the flight, and finally make the 3-hour drive to/from the airport for drop off. I do ship within the US and take care of all reservations and plans for you. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping will run $395.00 all inclusive. Temperature safe flights available when temperatures fall between the required 20-85 degrees. Feel free to reply with any further questions - I am prompt with my communication. We beg of you to be courteous of our CST zone. 402-685-6228 WE ANSWER EVERY EMAIL WITHIN THE DAY, JUST MAKE SURE YOUR EMAIL SYSTEM IS SET UP TO ACCEPT OUR REPLY. CALL IF YOU DON'T HEAR FROM US.

Coton de Tulear
Frequently Asked Questions
About Coton de Tulear Puppies
What should I know about Coton de Tulears before buying one?
Coton de Tulear dogs are small, happy pups who love to entertain. They are famous for their cotton-like coats and gentle, affectionate natures. Quick to learn, they love tricks and fun indoor and outdoor daily activity. Full-grown, they typically weigh 8-15 pounds and stand 9-11 inches tall.
How do Coton de Tulears behave around young children?
Coton de Tulears are generally excellent with children of all ages. Friendly and gentle, they are sociable and get along well with children and other dogs, but they can be a bit stubborn without the proper leadership. They enjoy participating in a variety of sports, like agility skills and catch, so take them out for an occasional trip to the park. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
Do Coton de Tulears need a lot of physical activity?
The Coton de Tulear is an alert and well-mannered dog that loves to play but vary in their activity levels. They are fairly active indoor dogs and will do okay without a yard to play in, but they can also have fun outside or at the doggy park. They love to perform tricks, so be sure to oblige them with a praise-based approach. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
Do Coton de Tulears need professional grooming?
The Coton de Tulear’s signature fluffy coat requires daily brushing and combing, as well as occasional baths, in order to keep it free from matting and knotting. Otherwise, matting will form near their sensitive skin. If left ungroomed, brushing will prove painful for the dog (and for you!) to brush out. Grooming-wise, this breed is fairly high-maintenance. Coton de Tulears are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
Are Coton de Tulears easy to train?
Coton de Tulears are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. The Coton de Tulear is a friendly breed that wants to be around their homes and masters always. They adapt well to both small and large home environments and are happy with a little walking and play time each day. They are fairly easy to train.

See Full Guide Here
Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
