We travel often. Contact us to schedule a visit to our home or to meet up. We have multiple trips planned from St. Louis (where our family lives) to Chicago (where lots of friends of ours live), check the site for the posted schedule for delivery, testimonials, updated weights and more pictures of puppies and parents.

We have beautiful puppies and have been raising puppies for almost 20 years. You are welcome to come to our home or we are able to drive to meet up with you at a convenient location. We are often flexible with traveling since we are located right in the middle of Illinois so it is easy to travel. You can view all of our puppies on our website.
You can also give us a call or text on our cell at (618) 977-5177.
We give lots of extras with our puppies and they are socialized well with our small children (12 and 14yr old). We also have farm animals so the puppies like to play with the rabbits, chickens, geese, turkeys, bigger dogs and the cats. All of our adults are AKC registered so we have legit adults with lots of champions in most of our puppies. Almost all of our adults now are ones that we bred and raised from a baby so we know the lineage well and also guarantee our puppies.
We breed for quality and do all the vaccinations/wormings appropriate for their age. A good portion of our puppies go to prior puppy parents that refer us to their friends/family. We also have lots of veterinarians and doctors who get our puppies for companions and therapy dogs. Most people come back for a second puppy and send us updated pics as their puppies grow. We offer local discounts as well.

About Shichon Puppies
About Shichon Puppies
What kind of dog is a Shichon?
The Shichon or Zuchon is a cross between the Bichon Frise and the Shih Tzu. This hybrid is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club as the Zuchon. Full-grown, they typically weigh 8-15 pounds and stand 9-12 inches tall.
Do Shichons get along with kids?
Shichons are generally excellent with children of all ages. The Scichon are easy-going and enjoy the companionship of their owners. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
What kind of exercise do Shichons need?
The Shichon does not require formal daily exercise. Routine play is sufficient though they do enjoy short walks with their owners. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
What kind of coat care does a Shichon require?
The coat of a Shichon is usually thick and sheds very little. The coat can come in a variety of lengths depending on which breed this dog's coat takes after. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance. Shichons are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
What should first-time owners know about Shichons?
Shichons are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They are fairly easy to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
