Max

Max is the most adorable longhaired baby ever. Except maybe for his sister. :) His puppy coat is in a funky stage, and makes him look adorable. He is a very pale lavender tricolor. His coat does seem to be thinner than his sister's and color dilution alopecia (coat loss because of dilute color) can be a concern with dilutes, especially the paler colors, but he is too young to know. But that has been reflected in his price - his coat may always be thinner, or even patchy when grown. He's a very sturdy guy and will probably end up around 7-8 pounds (both parents are 6). He is the sweetest thing and snuggles and plays and is always happy. He does a good job on using his pads....when he doesn't shred them playing tug of war with his sister. He is current on vaccines and deworming. He has been vet-checked and is in good health. Like most purebred Chihuahuas, he has an open fontanel (soft spot) and that will probably remain He has a very minor umbilical hernia. If it doesn't close by the time you have him neutered (many small belly-button hernias do close on their own), your vet may want to correct it. His price is set very low to offset that possible expense. No registration papers provided as he is not for breeding.
