COURTESY POST (located near Columbia City, IN)
Mr. T is a 4 year old French Bulldog male who will soon be looking for his forever home. Mr. T has been around kids (ages 2-14) and gets along great with other dogs. Mr. T would do better with kids who are just a bit older as he can be a little jumpy when he's excited. We haven't had him around cats often but when he has been around them, he would chase them. Not sure how he would do living with them. This boy is the sweetest, most loving Frenchie ever! He loves attention and going outside for adventures. He does ok walking on a leash and is learning to enjoy car rides as well. He is crate trained and doesn't mind staying in his crate when needed. We do crate him when we leave or cannot supervise him. We were told by his previous owners that he was even trained to pull a cart for their little kiddos. Mr. T is the fluffy variety of a French Bulldog so he will need just a litte more grooming than a smooth coated French Bulldog.
Mr. T will be available in May once he is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped & heartworm tested. Serious inquiries only. No shipping.

What's it like owning a French Bulldog?
Contrary to their name and grimace, French Bulldogs are about as sweet as they come. They’re happy-go-lucky, entertaining, and can barely fit their big hearts in their tiny bodies. As an easygoing breed that expects nothing but love and affection, a Frenchie will surely be your family’s best friend. Full-grown, they typically weigh 16-28 pounds and stand 11-13 inches tall.
Are French Bulldogs good family dogs?
French Bulldogs are generally excellent with children of all ages. French Bulldogs love living with other dogs, pets, and kids. They’re great family pets and adapt well to just about any setting, including apartment living. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
Can French Bulldogs keep up with an active lifestyle?
French Bulldogs need a bit of activity each day, but they’re pretty low maintenance when it comes to exercise. A short walk or play session in the yard should do the trick. Frenchies don’t have much stamina and are sensitive to the heat, so don’t expect much from them in the sporting department. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
Do French Bulldogs shed a lot?
The French Bulldog has a fairly fine coat of short and smooth hair that can be fawn, white, or brindle, with a variety of markings. These dogs also have soft, loose skin that forms wrinkles on their head and shoulders. While their coats don't shed much, the Frenchie’s wrinkles need a bit more TLC. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
What living situation works for a French Bulldog?
French Bulldogs are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They’re great family pets and adapt well to just about any setting, including apartment living. French Bulldogs also hate hot weather and swimming, so keep them indoors and away from water. They are fairly easy to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
