Norie Joy

Meet Norie! She is a sweet Cocker Spaniel looking for her forever home. She is calm and well-mannered, and I think would fit in best with a quieter home, however I think she could do well most places. She is a lover at heart and could spend hours laying in the floor getting her belly rubbed. She would love to take a walk every day, but otherwise her exercise demands are relatively low. She just turned 5 years old. She weighs around 22 pounds and is up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and flea and tick prevention. She is ready for her forever home as soon as April 6th. She has had one litter of puppies for us, and several litters of puppies for her prior owners. She has recently been to see our groomer and has been fixed and is now ready to find a retirement home where she can live out the rest of her life being pampered and loved daily. She has experience being inside, experience with potty training, and crate training. These are skills that will need to be reinforced in her new home and routine, but she has a great start so far! She has been around kids and adults, but mostly adults. She has been around cats, other small dogs, cattle, chickens, sheep, and goats. She does not bother livestock. She gets along well with cats, and most dogs. She likes to "rule the roost" or be top dog as they say. She has never been seriously aggressive towards other small dogs but will growl to put them in their place if they bother her.  We have enjoyed our short time with her and would keep her if we could!  We can easily meet in Springfield, MO, Jefferson City, MO, halfway to STL, etc.  Please reach out if you have any questions!
