Nyx

Nyx is a sweet and loving cane corso puppy that is a gentle giant with her family. She is a very protective dog and cares deeply for her family. She knows her name, and she walks great on a leash. She knows basic commands, such as Sit and Down, and she can be trained to fit any needs. She is a great service dog candidate due to her calm and gentle nature, or a protection dog for your property or person. She is aloof with people other than her family, and doesn’t care for the attention of strangers. She doesn’t seek pets or attention from others. Nyx is a purebred cane corso with AKC registered papers. She is show quality and can be shown at AKC events. She is receptive to instruction, and responds quickly to a change in energy. This dog has been trained through energy work and this will need to continue. She doesn’t need to be punished physically, a change in energy is enough for her to cease bad behaviors. She loves getting up on the couch and cuddling with her person. She will likely bond deeper with one person in the home and look to them as her home base. That is evident in her time with us. She is very attached to me, and somewhat attached to my husband. Nyx will need to be fed raw. We feed her 2 chicken leg quarters, an apple (or 1c blueberries) for antioxidants and raw goats milk poured over the top for probiotics. She CANNOT eat kibble. It gives her severe diarrhea and gastrointestinal upset. She gets sick when she eats kibble. A house with a yard would be best, as she was bred to be a property protection dog. If you do not have a yard, I will need proof that you are active. She will need to be walked at least 30 mins per day, and she needs to go outside 5-8 times per day. She likes to take her time and find the best place to defecate, so it is very important that you are okay with being outside, rain or shine, about 2 hours a day combined with potty breaks and walks.
