Hi, I’m Oakley! A stunning AKC Belgian Malinois with a heart full of energy, love, and curiosity. I’m smart, playful, and always ready for an adventure—whether it’s a game of fetch, a run in the yard, or learning new tricks. My sleek, shiny coat and bright, alert eyes show just how curious and attentive I am. I love spending time with people, giving cuddles, and showing off my loyal, fun-loving personality. Every day is a new chance to explore, play, and make friends!
My mom is Spain, an incredible IGP-trained Belgian Malinois who’s smart, strong, and full of love. She teaches me how to be loyal, focused, and playful all at once. My dad is Dash and he comes from top Dutch KNPV lines including some Ingo van de Lemahof(KNPV PH-1, PH-2, Placed 5th in the PH-2 KNPV Championship 2018), Dackx Perle de Tourbiere KNPV PH-1 (who needs no introduction), Aaros KNPV PH-1 PH-2 & Obj. Guard, Napoleon KNPV PH-1, Ezra van Masja's Home KNPV PH-1 PH-2 & Obj Guard (Placed 4th in the PH-2 KNPV Championship 2012) and Halden NPA Detection Dog (IPO 3, IGP 3, KNPV Sph A, B, 3rd Place in Dutch IPO Championship and a world competitor in the IPO Championship 2019). Dash has a pedigree that is littered with strong working lines that are competing at a top level. Many of the dogs in his pedigree are now known to have been top producers of their time (Dackx, Aaros (Sold to China), Halden).
Dash is a certified EOD (Explosives Detection) that has worked screening cargo for a TSA contractor. He is a very stable dog that has been raised in the home with a family with children. He is calm in the crate and easy/clean in the kennel. Dash has a great hunt drive as do many of the Halden Descendants. His environmentals and confidence are super. We expect his offspring to be just as balanced and capable of all types of work. Dash has had his hips, elbows, and spine X-rayed as well as embark genetic testing. , a big 85lb Belgian Malinois with a gentle heart and endless energy. He loves exploring, playing, and snuggling—and I’ve inherited all his fun-loving spirit! I feel so lucky to have such amazing parents who’ve passed on their smarts, energy, and love to me.
I’ll be joining my forever family vet-checked, up to date on vaccines and deworming, and covered by a 1-year health guarantee for your peace of mind. If you have any questions, you can call Robert at 330-231-0088 (landline—calls only, no texts; Sunday calls will be returned on Monday). They’re happy to answer questions and schedule visits. About Belgian Malinois Puppies
About Belgian Malinois Puppies
What makes Belgian Malinoiss special?
Belgian Malinois are protective around strangers, but they bond quickly with their families. They have a keen sense of what’s going on and aren’t afraid to defend their owners and territory. For a happy pup, make Malinois your “only child,” and give them plenty of secured space to play. Full-grown, they typically weigh 40-80 pounds and stand 22-26 inches tall.
Will a Belgian Malinois get along with my other pets?
Belgian Malinoiss are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. The Belgian Malinois should be socialized as a puppy if they're going to live with other dogs or pets, but their nature is to be protective and aggressive toward foreign animals. They’re shy around strangers but get along well with children. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
Do Belgian Malinoiss need a lot of physical activity?
Belgian Malinois need a lot of activity and outdoor exercise each day, such as a long run, walk, hike, or play session in the yard. Malinois thrive most when their minds are stimulated. To keep them engaged, trying playing complex games, sports, and any activity that taps into their natural prey drive. Overall, their exercise needs are very high.
What kind of coat care does a Belgian Malinois require?
Belgian Malinois have a short brown, grey, or fawn coat, sometimes with black-tipped hair. Their face usually has a black mask and ears, along with a lighter underside. Belgian Malinois shed heavily once or twice a year. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Are Belgian Malinoiss a good fit for apartment living?
Belgian Malinoiss are best suited for a home with a yard, though they can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise. Malinois are quite large, so they do better in homes with large yards, rather than apartments or small spaces. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.
