✌️Ozzy (started puppy)

This is Oz! He is a beautiful example of a well balanced Newfoundland puppy! He is of an ideal pairing we have worked a long time to achieve in our program. As a preservation breeder, I am so proud to have whelped him! Unfortunately, he could not be a show/program prospect, due to his testicles not descending. At this point in his development they will not. With cryptorchidism, he can be neutered after two, and live a perfectly happy life in a pet home. On that note, it gives me the opportunity to offer him to the public, to cherish a true example of the breed, one to be proud of! He is the offspring of our sire, Zhack and Dam Maybelline. They are health tested per NCA breed standard. Our program adults have passing OFA &/ or PENN HIP and are heart cleared by ultrasound. All of our program dogs have been genetically tested for DM and are Cystinuria clear by parentage. Above all, we look to produce healthy, hardy, breed standard Newfoundlands for the breed future, our program and the loving families who want to be owned by a Newf! Oz is the embodiment of a Newfoundland in body and spirit. He is gentle and stoic, with goofy tendencies. I feel he would thrive in a home placement or a work placement. With his temperament, and his love for new things and people he could be trained in therapy as well. He is house broke, crate trained and is started in obedience, he would be a fantastic project for a AKC Canine Good Citizen cert! He was raised on puppy culture and has been exposed to all kinds of life lessons. We live with our dogs underfoot and they are well equipped to dive into the world and serve their families. With Oz, the hard "puppy work" is gone, he is under professional training. He is a robust pup, slow intentional growing will turn him into a massive, magnificent fella!
