Bug and Carnegie have created a beautiful litter of striking puppies. Born under the printer table last Saturday afternoon, they were named, in birth order, Inkblot, Page and Epson! Bug, a designer dog, is a combination of sturdy Pekingese and fragile Chi. These pups may be hardy enough to withstand attention from kids of all ages.
Second born was Page, with a solid white coat and striking dark nose and eyes. Sure to mature into a gorgeous dog, it will be interesting to see whether she has long or short hair. Mama is shorthaired and Papa has a full beautiful long coat. Mama is a 4 lb black and tan short haired Pekingese/Chi. She is strong and hardy with a shiny coat. Carnegie is a 3 lb gorgeous long-haired Chihuahua. The hair on his back has a beautiful copper and white undercoat with black overlay, a large white bib on his chest that frames his face with long hair on his ears. His face mask is striking with enough white to make the black stand out. The printer pups litter will be ready to go at 8 weeks. The mother has been on purified water all her life so the pups have had no exposure to chlorine thus a reduced risk of cancer. If you’re interested in this important water purity call me for options of varying expense. All my dogs drink quality purified water stored in clear plastic 5 gallon jugs.
No chlorine, bile films or contaminants for my babies! I add food grade DE (Diatomaceous earth) to their moistened Purina Healthy Puppy Plus with nutrients for brain and vision. Mama has been on a nursing diet of organic whole milk yogurt with a home-cooked meal every night of salmon, calves liver or venison with basmati rice, vegetables and dog friendly herbs. I ordered and am studying 13 dog cookbooks on Ebay to help create balanced nutritious recipes.

About Chihuahua Puppies
What makes Chihuahuas special?
These pint sized pooches aren’t short on smarts! While they make lovable and devoted lapdogs, Chihuahuas possess a ninja-like agility, graceful demeanor, and bravery that sometimes gets them into trouble. Full-grown, they typically weigh 2-6 pounds and stand 5-8 inches tall.
Can Chihuahuas live with cats and other dogs?
Chihuahuas are generally not the best fit for families with young kids. Chihuahuas can usually live with other dogs and cats without problem. Socializing the Chihuahua as a puppy is essential to prevent overt aggressiveness and avoiding World War III with other pets in your house. They're very vocal and bark quite a lot.
Are Chihuahuas high-energy dogs?
Chihuahuas can usually get all the exercise they need by running around indoors. If the dog becomes a little chubby, put on the Tai Bo DVD and get down! Actually, these dogs should be allowed to walk everywhere until the desired weight is reached. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
What should I expect with Chihuahua shedding?
Chihuahuas can have a long or short coat and come in a wide variety of colors, including sand, chocolate, silver, chestnut, and even blue. A plethora of patterns including sable and masks are also a possibility. It’s this very variety of possibilities makes classification so difficult. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Are Chihuahuas a good fit for apartment living?
Chihuahuas are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Socializing the Chihuahua as a puppy is essential to prevent overt aggressiveness and avoiding World War III with other pets in your house. They are moderately trainable with consistent effort.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.

Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.

Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
