Meet Peter!
Peter is a handsome Cockapoo puppy. He has a apricot/red and white parti coat. Peter is a growing boy who we are confident will grow up to be a great companion for someone! He will be non-shedding and hypoallergenic. We expect him to weigh between 12-22 pounds full-grown.
Peter was born on March 13, 2026, and will be ready for his forever when he is 8 weeks old, as soon as May 8, 2026. He is an F1 Cockapoo which means he is 50% poodle and 50% Cocker Spaniel. His mom, Nova, is a beautiful 25-pound Cocker Spaniel who has a happy and relaxed personality. His dad, Dixon, is a handsome mini/toy poodle who weighs 9 pounds and has a loyal and bashful personality. Both parents are registered and health tested.
Upon arrival to his forever home, he will see my trusted vet for a wellness exam and a health certificate. He will also see my wonderful groomer for a slight puppy trim around the face, feet, and hygiene area. He will be dewormed at 2,4,6, and 8 weeks old. He will come with his first two rounds of puppy vaccines given at 6 and 8 weeks old. He will receive flea and tick prevention as well at 8 weeks old. He will come with his own neatly kept folder with all necessary medical information as well as registration papers. He will also have a go-home bag complete with food, treats, potty bags, toys and a blanket that smell like mom and siblings, and more! My puppies are very well socialized with people of all ages- from toddlers to elderly. They will also be very well socialized with other dogs and cats as well. We start on crate and potty training, making sure they have plenty of exposure to these training methods and are ready to master these concepts with the help of their new owners in their forever homes!
If you have any questions for me about adding Peter to your home, I would love to speak with you! Feel free to contact me at any time! I do have companies that I work closely with to transport puppies if needed! We are also happy to meet you part of the way within reason to shorten your trip! It's easy for us to meet halfway to STL, in Jefferson City, halfway to Kansas City, and in Springfield!

About Cockapoo Puppies
About Cockapoo Puppies
Is a Cockapoo the right dog for me?
Cockapoos get their loving personalities from their Cocker Spaniel and Poodle parents. No matter how old they get, they always have a puppy's charm. Cockapoos are gentle, family-friendly dogs that vie for your love and attention. They don’t just want companionship, they need it! Full-grown, they typically weigh 12-24 pounds and stand 10-15 inches tall.
Are Cockapoos friendly with strangers and kids?
Cockapoos are generally good with kids, especially when raised together. Cockapoos' kind disposition make them a wonderful family pet. These dogs are gentle and loving with children and enjoy having company, whether it’s another dog, cat, or other animal. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
What activities do Cockapoos enjoy most?
Cockapoos have low exercise needs. They’ll be happy with a small yard where they can run freely and take the occasional walk. Above all else, these dogs want companionship, so whatever activity you choose for them, make sure they have a playmate to keep them company and share in the fun. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
Are Cockapoos high-maintenance when it comes to grooming?
The Cockapoo has a coat that combines aspects of the Poodle and Cocker Spaniel. Their fur can be curly, flat, or anywhere in between. Cockapoos come in a wide variety of colors, such as white, cream, tan, or a mix. Grooming-wise, this breed is high-maintenance. Cockapoos are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
Where do Cockapoos do best — city or country?
Cockapoos are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Cockapoos are the perfect size for apartments, but no matter what kind of home you live in, make sure you have enough time to devote to them and keep them as indoor dogs. They are fairly easy to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
