I’m Sadly having to rehome my 2yr old German Shepard Pitbull mix. His birthday is April 18th, 2024. I got him when he was about 6months. He is not on Craigslist because he is cheap or can go to anyone. He is a great bread with DNA testing done. He still is intact and is 100percent healthy. I did most of his shots and deworming myself from tractor supply so I don’t have those papers. He is due for a rabies shot in a couple months though! I would love some kind of proof that’s he’s going to a good place, maybe some pictures of your yard or anything you have prepped for your furry friend you are currently looking to get! Anything you can think of that might help put my mind at ease handing him over to you. He is a wonderful dog but needs work on a leash due to always being aloud out in the yard without one. He gets nervous with it on and will freeze/lay down sometimes with it on. He has only ever been defensive when another dog has tried to challenge him aggressively but that comes with him still being intact and dominant. If he is going to a home with multiple dogs and you don’t have experience with intact big dogs I would look at getting him fix. He is great with humans as long as he know you so would be a great guard dog for someone that just started living alone. Once he gets to know you and trust you he will protect you with his life.
