Contrary to their name and grimace, French Bulldogs are about as sweet as they come. They’re happy-go-lucky, entertaining, and can barely fit their big hearts in their tiny bodies. As an easygoing breed that expects nothing but love and affection, a Frenchie will surely be your family’s best friend. Full-grown, they typically weigh 16-28 pounds and stand 11-13 inches tall.

French Bulldogs are generally excellent with children of all ages. French Bulldogs love living with other dogs, pets, and kids. They’re great family pets and adapt well to just about any setting, including apartment living. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.

French Bulldogs need a bit of activity each day, but they’re pretty low maintenance when it comes to exercise. A short walk or play session in the yard should do the trick. Frenchies don’t have much stamina and are sensitive to the heat, so don’t expect much from them in the sporting department. Overall, their exercise needs are low.

The French Bulldog has a fairly fine coat of short and smooth hair that can be fawn, white, or brindle, with a variety of markings. These dogs also have soft, loose skin that forms wrinkles on their head and shoulders. While their coats don't shed much, the Frenchie’s wrinkles need a bit more TLC. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.

This cheerful toy breed is surprisingly uncomplicated and happiest as an indoor lapdog. Full-grown, they typically weigh 13-18 pounds and stand 12-13 inches tall.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are generally excellent with children of all ages. Cavalier King Charles Spaniels get along great with children (although older children are preferable), other dogs, and any household pets. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel are pretty basic. They love walks (leashed or watched closely around roads as they tend to give chase to small animals) but are quite content with plenty of indoor play, easily adjusting to the activity level of your family. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has long, soft, silky hair with a light wave to it. There are four color types which were formerly considered separate breeds: tricolor (‘Prince Charles’), red and white (‘Blenheim’), black and tan (‘King Charles’), and red (‘Ruby’). The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is an average shedder, and they don’t need to be bathed often if you keep them as indoor dogs, which they prefer, but frequent brushing is a good idea. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
