Ruger is a very energetic and loves to play tug of war. Especially with your pant legs, water hose or anything else he feels the need to get your attention. He is a red leopard.
He lives outside on the farm. My pups are not raised indoors, they are working dogs.
Ruger is from registered parents, however, he will not be registerable.
Catahoula Leopard Dog is a multi-purpose working dog that is powerful, with a sense of agility and endurance. They are serious while working and playful at home.
Catahoula are used as stock dogs, bay dogs, tree dogs, watchdogs, guard dogs, and of course as loyal companions.
Catahoulas need space to expend their huge amount of energy and always needs a job to do. A catahoula is not suited for city life or as an apartment/house dog.
