Sarah’s puppies arrived on January 1 2026. Sam #2 is black and white is a miniature Aussiedoodle who will mature around 25 pounds. Sarah ( mother) our purebred Australian Shepherd was bred to Cain (father) our AKC registered miniature black and white male poodle. Puppies in this litter will have great wavy thick coats and sweet personalities as both parents have produced amazing family pets. Everyone that has puppies from the previous litters from both Sarah and Cain have sent us nothing but good feedback on how quickly they learn and how they are a perfect fit to each family. These puppies are expected to be around 25 pounds when mature as adults. The Aussiedoodle breed is considered something very special. After all, this is the cross between the loyal, playful Australian shepherd and the elegant, intelligent Poodle. The Aussiedoodle is both beauty and brains, and can make an excellent therapy dog because of their ability to really bond with one or two special humans. Plus, they’re always ready to play, which makes them an ideal family dog as well. Our puppies will receive a 6 week and 8 week 5 way vaccinations before going to their forever home. We are happy to answer any questions you might may have along the way of raising your new family member. We've put a ton of time and effort into assuring that our pups grow up to be happy and healthy. All of our puppies are born in our house and at 3 or 4 weeks of age are move to our nursery building with heat when needed. All of our puppies and their mothers have full access to the outdoor runs at all times. The puppies learn and use the doggy door to access the outdoor area where they learn to go potty, which gives you a great head start in the potty training process! Frequently Asked Questions
About Miniature Aussiedoodle Puppies
Are Miniature Aussiedoodles a good breed to own?
A Miniature Aussiedoodle is a small hybrid dog breed that is a cross between a Miniature Australian Shepherd and a Miniature Poodle. These dogs are known for their friendly and social personalities, and they make excellent family pets. Full-grown, they typically weigh 15-24 pounds and stand 12-18 inches tall.
How do Miniature Aussiedoodles behave around young children?
Miniature Aussiedoodles are generally good with kids, especially when raised together. Due to their high energy levels, Miniature Aussiedoodles may not be the best fit for people who live in small apartments or do not have access to a yard. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
Are Miniature Aussiedoodles couch potatoes or do they need a lot of exercise?
Miniature Aussiedoodles are energetic and intelligent dogs that require regular exercise and mental stimulation. These dogs are social and friendly, making them a great choice for families with children or other pets. They enjoy being around people and are known for their affectionate nature. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
How often should I brush a Miniature Aussiedoodle?
The coat of a Miniature Aussiedoodle is typically soft and curly, with varying degrees of wave and curl depending on the dog's genetics. The coat can be a range of colors, including black, white, cream, brown, and gray. One of the benefits of the Miniature Aussiedoodle's coat is that it is typically low-shedding, making them a great choice for people with allergies or who prefer a cleaner home environment. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate.
What kind of home is best for a Miniature Aussiedoodle?
Miniature Aussiedoodles are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Due to their high energy levels, Miniature Aussiedoodles may not be the best fit for people who live in small apartments or do not have access to a yard. They thrive in an active lifestyle, so they do well with families who can provide plenty of opportunities for playtime and outdoor activities. They are fairly easy to train.
