Sam(neutered) Genetic testing

Hi, my name is Sammy. I’m looking for a new forever home because my human mommy went to heaven. I’m hoping and praying to find the perfect place where I can love and be loved again. I was an emotional therapy baby and went everywhere with my human mommy. Right now, I’m living with my real doggy mommy and daddy. I’m welcome to stay here as long as I need, but I would really love to have my very own human again. I’d probably do best in a home with older adults, since that’s what I’m used to. Did I mention I have been to obedience school. I’m a very happy little fella! I’m neutered, up to date on all vaccines (including rabies), and I’m potty trained to go outside, though I’ll use puppy pads if needed. I’m okay being left alone for a while and don’t get into things. I love chew toys. I’m crate trained, but I don’t need to be crated because I’m very well mannered. If you’re looking for the perfect lap dog, I’m your guy! I also love the outdoors, going for walks, and especially going for rides. I’m not much of a barker. I have my own doggy bed, but I really prefer sleeping on the bed with my human. I’m allowed on the furniture and love being wherever my people are—even the bathroom. Yes, I’ll follow you there (LOL). I’m hypoallergenic and don’t shed. I go to the groomer every 8–10 weeks, and they always say I’m a perfect gentleman. Since I’m a Shihpoo, regular grooming will be needed. Although I would love to be in my forever home for the holidays, when I first arrive it would be best to keep things calm and low-stimulus so I can decompress and adjust. I just need time to feel safe and build trust. I may be a little shy at first—or maybe not—but patience and understanding will help me settle in. If I have an accident, please don’t be upset with me. Everything will be new, and I’ll need time to learn my new routine. By parentage, I am clear for Von Willebrand Types 1, 2, and 3; Degenerative Myelopathy; GM2 Gangliosidosis (Poodle Type); NEWS; Osteochondrodysplasia; and Prekallikrein Deficiency, and is either clear or a non-affected carrier for PRA. I will also come with vet documentation, vaccines and rabies. Copies of parents genetic testing will be given when picked up for adoption. If you are interested in adopting me please contact me.
