Introducing Scarlett, a striking Belgian Malinois with a rich coat, sharp, intelligent eyes, and a bold dark mask that perfectly frames her focused expression. With her sleek frame and upright ears, she captures the regal presence and working drive the breed is known for. She’s not only handsome—she’s bred for performance, stability, and lifelong loyalty. The Belgian Malinois is an elite working breed: deeply loyal, highly intelligent, and incredibly trainable. Known for their drive and versatility, Malinois thrive in active homes where they have purpose and structure. Her sire, Dash, comes from outstanding Dutch KNPV lines and boasts a pedigree filled with elite names: Ingo van de Lemahof (KNPV PH-1, PH-2, 5th in the 2018 KNPV PH-2 Championship), Dackx Perle de Tourbiere (KNPV PH-1), Aaros KNPV PH-1, PH-2, Obj. Guard, Napoleon KNPV PH-1, Ezra van Masja’s Home (PH-1, PH-2, Obj. Guard, 4th place in the 2012 PH-2 Championship), and Halden (IPO3, IGP3, KNPV Sph A/B, 3rd in Dutch IPO Nationals, and 2019 IPO World Competitor). Many of these dogs are recognized worldwide for their working ability and production quality. Dash himself is a certified explosives detection (EOD) dog who worked screening cargo for a TSA contractor. He’s a very stable, well-rounded dog—raised in a home with children, calm in the crate, clean in the kennel, and confident in new environments. Dash has an excellent hunt drive and displays the calm, focused temperament often seen in Halden’s descendants. He has had X-rays on his hips, elbows, and spine, and has been genetically tested through Embark. Her dam, Roxsyann, is just as impressive. She is OFA certified for her hips, elbows, heart, and eyes. At 48 pounds, she is athletic, intelligent, people-oriented, and eager to please. Her pedigree includes search and rescue-trained dogs, and her calm confidence and alert expression are clearly passed on to her puppies. She is everything we hoped for—driven, confident, social, and full of potential. She is AKC registered, up to date on vaccinations and deworming, and will receive a full vet check before going to her new home. We also provide a one-year genetic health guarantee for added peace of mind. Please keep in mind that Belgian Malinois are a demanding breed that requires an experienced, committed owner. These dogs thrive with training, structure, and plenty of physical and mental stimulation. Be sure to do your research and make sure this breed fits your lifestyle and goals. If you believe she might be the right match for your home, we’d love to hear from you. Call Robert at 330-231-0088 (landline – calls only, no texts. Sunday calls will be returned on Monday). Frequently Asked Questions
About Belgian Malinois Puppies
What makes Belgian Malinoiss special?
Belgian Malinois are protective around strangers, but they bond quickly with their families. They have a keen sense of what’s going on and aren’t afraid to defend their owners and territory. For a happy pup, make Malinois your “only child,” and give them plenty of secured space to play. Full-grown, they typically weigh 40-80 pounds and stand 22-26 inches tall.
Will a Belgian Malinois get along with my other pets?
Belgian Malinoiss are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. The Belgian Malinois should be socialized as a puppy if they're going to live with other dogs or pets, but their nature is to be protective and aggressive toward foreign animals. They’re shy around strangers but get along well with children. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
Do Belgian Malinoiss need a lot of physical activity?
Belgian Malinois need a lot of activity and outdoor exercise each day, such as a long run, walk, hike, or play session in the yard. Malinois thrive most when their minds are stimulated. To keep them engaged, trying playing complex games, sports, and any activity that taps into their natural prey drive. Overall, their exercise needs are very high.
What kind of coat care does a Belgian Malinois require?
Belgian Malinois have a short brown, grey, or fawn coat, sometimes with black-tipped hair. Their face usually has a black mask and ears, along with a lighter underside. Belgian Malinois shed heavily once or twice a year. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Are Belgian Malinoiss a good fit for apartment living?
Belgian Malinoiss are best suited for a home with a yard, though they can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise. Malinois are quite large, so they do better in homes with large yards, rather than apartments or small spaces. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.
