English Setters need at least 30 minutes of exercise every day and more if possible. They have an amazing sense of smell, which they will use to track down birds any time you give them the chance. When going for a walk or a bike ride, your English Setter would be more than happy to trot faithfully along your side. Overall, their exercise needs are very high.

They have feathering on their ears, chest, belly, legs, and tail, which should be kept trimmed unless you plan on showing your dog professionally. Shedding will be moderate and can be kept to a minimum with regular brushing. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate.

Labrador Retrievers are generally excellent with children of all ages. They don’t do well with being forced to live outside away from their people family, so you should plan to have them living in your house with you. Labrador Retrievers usually get along alright with any feline friends that also call your place home, and they tend to play nice with other dogs as well.
