Meet Skylar Skylar has been with me since birth and has been raised in a peaceful, loving home where she is truly spoiled with affection. She is absolutely beautiful and will continue to fill out her mane as she matures. She is well-mannered, intelligent, and eager to learn. She already knows how to sit, lay down, shake paw, beg, and listens very well—she has the potential to learn many more tricks. Her mother is AKC registered with a pedigree full of championship bloodlines. One of the photos shows Skylar lying with her mother. Her father is a registered stock dog and very majestic. If AKC registration is important for showing, I am open to discussing the process of registering her father so Skylar could also be registered (this would take some time and coordination). Personality & Temperament Skylar is the first to greet you at the door—usually with a toy in her mouth. She loves playing ball and is great about bringing it back, then sitting patiently while she waits for you to throw it again. She listens when called, loves being outside, and enjoys attention from her humans without being needy. At night, she sleeps soundly beside you or on her dog bed. She is very clean, well-behaved, and does not make messes. She does well with other dogs and enjoys having a companion, as she has grown up playing with her siblings. Why I’m Rehoming Her Rehoming Skylar breaks my heart, but I believe a couple of her siblings are developing litter aggression and have begun targeting her. While training helps temporarily, the behavior returns. She has no major injuries—just a small area of hair loss and a few minor punctures—but she is far too sweet and gentle to remain in that environment. She deserves a home where she feels safe, loved, and cherished. The Perfect Home Skylar would thrive with loving, caring people and will return that affection tenfold. While she is still young and playful, she is already past the difficult puppy stage—she’s housebroken, sleeps through the night, and has great manners. Aussies tend to stay playful forever, and she has many wonderful years ahead of her, as Australian Shepherds are known for their longevity.
