Meet Sully!
She was recently rescued from a puppy mill breeder, she was being aucitoned off to other puppy mill breeders. We decided to purchase her, and five others, with the intention of removing them from that type of environment, and finding them pet homes. We ourselves are breeders, and support ethical breeding practices- but this group of Samoyeds were living in a mass production kennel, no health testing, breeding too early/too many litters, no proper grooming, etc. As a breeder of Samoyeds, we believe in protecting and preserving this breed. We were happy to have the means to help these dogs, and find them a better life.
Sully will be my easiest girl to place into a new home. She will make a lovely pet. To have been in a mass production type kennel, she is not fearful or shy. She is very loving, friendly, outgoing and adventurous. She is a pretty calm girl to be a Samoyed- she enjoys napping most of the day, but will also happily accompany you on a walk. She is not extremely vocal, I've only heard her bark a few times. She is amazing with other dogs both big and small, but I have learned she is not good with chickens. I am unsure how she is with cats.
We are working on her potty training, and she is making progress in leaps and bounds. She will need to continue her training in her new home, but I think she will be able to be called "fully house trained" soon. She is pretty good on a leash- she occasionally pulls a little, but not a terrible puller. She sleeps in a crate at night, and accepts grooming very well. She is very good with my children- patient, gentle, and very self aware- she's not one that is bad about bumping into or knocking down little ones. She also doesn't jump all over people.
She was just spayed on 1/12/26, and will be ready to go to her new home in 10-14 days, after she recovers. I also had her updated on her vaccines, microchipped, and started on flea/tick/deworming prevention. She tested negative for heartworms. She weighs 44 lbs.
Please call or text 580-380-5754 if you are interested in giving her a good home. She is available to anywhere in the US- we have transport options available. Thank you!
