All listing information is self-reported. Verify information before conducting business. Learn more here

We have been breeding since 1995 and love every aspect of what we do! Fauna is an adorable baby girl!! She is a little shy and reserved at first, but is a very sweet little girl!! Fauna is charting to be around 5.5-7 pounds full grown and is now ready to go to her forever home. We would be happy to answer any and all questions you may have that are not answered below. All of our babies will come up to date on their puppy vaccinations and wormings; we spare no expense when it comes to all the preventative medicines we give. We choose to give the more expensive puppy vaccinations as well. Before being advertised they have seen our veterinarian to ensure they are in perfect health. We are with these puppies every single day; ensuring they are well socialized, well loved, and ready to add so much love to their new families! We work with our babies on going to puppy pads, but we do not work with any outdoor potty training. We are located in the very southeast corner of Kansas. We have a ground transportation option to many of the states in the US. We also offer a personal nanny service where I can personally fly the puppy to you in cabin. We have a 1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee that comes with every puppy and that can also be viewed on our website, ElizabethsExquisiteAngels.com. We do not give any registration papers with any of our puppies and they will strictly be placed in pet homes only. Since 1995 we have only had AKC registered mommies and daddies, however, we stopped giving papers and using registration over 10 years ago. Please feel free to read our reviews on here, we also have many testimonials on our Facebook page, Elizabeth’s Exquisite Angels.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Mal Shi Puppies
What makes Mal Shis special?
The Mal-Shi is a cross between a Maltese and a Shih Tzu. This hybrid originated in the United States. It is also known by Shih-tese, Shihtese and Malti Tzu. The Maltese is a small, fearless and very playful dog with a long, white silky coat that is hypoallergenic (very low shed cycle). Maltese do very well with other animals, but are often leery of strangers. The Shih Tzu is a medium sized and more sturdy breed with a double coat that is very people focused and literally thrives on attention and affection. The combination of these two breeds produce a cute, sturdy, intelligent, family focused dog with a slow shed cycle. Full-grown, they typically weigh 6-12 pounds and stand 10-10 inches tall.
Are Mal Shis safe around children?
Mal Shis are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. They do well with older children, nearly all animals, and with those of whom they are accustomed. They're not overly vocal and often fearful of strangers, making them a poor candidate for watchdog. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
How do I keep a Mal Shi physically active?
Mal-Shi are house pets in need of protection from extreme temperatures and they require plenty of exercise and playtime. A brisk twenty minute daily walk may do the trick, but don't neglect to fulfill their never ending desire to run, chew and play. A bored lazy Mal-Shi is likely to become depressed, destructive, disobedient or even worse, missing. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
Is a Mal Shi a good choice for someone with allergies?
The MalShih coat typically resembles that of a standard Shih Tzu with less, or no, undercoat. Like the standard Shih Tzu, the Mal-Shi does not shed as like most breeds do, but rather lose hair slowly like people. Most owners keep their Mal-Shi in a puppy cut (coat trimmed short) and others groom them daily using the traditional top knot and center part. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance. Mal Shis are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
What should first-time owners know about Mal Shis?
Mal Shis are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They are fairly easy to train.
Puppy Buyer's FAQ
See Full Guide Here
Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
