I require a mask to visit my puppies. If you won't wear a mask for the few minutes it takes to see a puppy, please find another breeder. Please note, “We do not sell our puppies/dogs for breeding, they are sold as companion family pet’s only.” Anything priced under $1000, will be sold on a spay/neuter contract, (registration papers will be given after proof of spay/neuter) unless arrangements are made to purchase papers. This is a beautiful liver merle parti toy sized, nicely coated baby girl. I expect her to be about 9 lbs 4 oz at maturity. All dew claws are removed and her tail is docked to breed standards. She is started on potty training. She is nicely proportioned with a nice compact square body. She does have a small umbilical hernia which is why her price has been lowered from $1500 to $1250. Please see my personal website listed below, for more info. All babies will come to you with up-to-date puppy vaccinations and wormings, following a well-puppy protocol, reflecting my 26+ years of experience. They are raised with love, & are happy, healthy, & well socialized. We breed for personality & temperament, as well as the standards for the breed. My t-cup babies average 3-7 lbs, and my toys average 8-11 lbs at maturity. My website can be viewed at www.californiaschnauzers.com (we are in Texas now, despite what the website is called) You can contact me at [email protected] or call/text me at 209-628-5673. The app on this puppies.com program does not work well for me, so please use my email directly or the phone number for texting and calling. You are welcome to come see your baby in person, near Lake Brownwood, TX, before you purchase. I offer delivery by land transport only. Most customers use uship.com and citizenshipper.com. You can also use a puppy nanny service if you can find one. All shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, but I will help coordinate pickup and anything else you need with the shipper. I do not do videos or updated pictures unless the looks have changed considerably and price hasn’t been reduced, so that may make a difference to you if you’re considering having your baby shipped.

Miniature Schnauzer
Frequently Asked Questions
About Miniature Schnauzer Puppies
What's it like owning a Miniature Schnauzer?
Miniature Schnauzers may look like lap dogs, but they’re more likely to chase animals around the yard or stand guard at the door than be lazy couch potatoes. These loyal dogs are bundles of energy that enjoy spending time with their owners, protecting the home, and being your #1 companion. Full-grown, they typically weigh 11-20 pounds and stand 12-14 inches tall.
Do Miniature Schnauzers do well in a busy household?
Miniature Schnauzers are generally excellent with children of all ages. Miniature Schnauzers are not the warmest dogs upon initial introduction, but once they get acquainted with you, they’re sweet and loving. Their wariness around strangers usually leads to lots of barking, especially when they’re around other dogs. They're very vocal and bark quite a lot.
What activities do Miniature Schnauzers enjoy most?
Miniature Schnauzers are athletic pups that can barely contain their energy. They need to be exercised multiple times a day to stay healthy and avoid getting into trouble. These dogs love to run, play in the yard, practice earth dog or tracking activities, and do anything that gets their heart pumping. Overall, their exercise needs are very high.
How much grooming does a Miniature Schnauzer need?
Miniature Schnauzers have typical terrier-style coats. A soft, thick undercoat keeps them warm and is topped by a wiry outer coat. Their notable features include long hair on their chin and face, which gives them expressive eyebrows and a beard. Grooming-wise, this breed is fairly high-maintenance. Miniature Schnauzers are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
Are Miniature Schnauzers a good fit for apartment living?
Miniature Schnauzers are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They can live outdoors in moderate or warm areas but prefer to spend most of their time indoors with family. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.
Puppy Buyer's FAQ
See Full Guide Here
Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
