SKIP THE HOUSE BREAKING, CRATE TRAINING, BASIC OBEDIENCE TRAINING & the 4 expensive VET visits for vaccinations because this little apricot AKC Poodle girl already has it at just 4 months old. She is ready to go as a basic trained pup or started service dog for biomedical alerts. She is highly biddable, has a great sense of smell and she has the temperament and personality to be trained as a Service Dog for various health conditions such as Diabetes, Cardiac, Seizures, food allergies. She would also make an excellent Therapy Dog brining joy to others in a nursing home, school, doctors or counselors office, or a hospital. She can also make the most loving companion pet you have ever known.
She would do great in just about any home setting, as long as there are not aggressive animals in the home. She loves children, has an amazing off switch, and while she loves to run and play in the yard while chasing the other dogs or carrying a ball or rope in her mouth, the moment she sees me, she comes running for a hug and kiss.
This beautiful little apricot miniature AKC girl is named Bonfire. (litter name). She’s expected to mature to 16-18 lbs and 14-15”.
She is the pup I call the poised princess with her calm, sweet demeanor, her little poodle prance with her docked tail held high, her desire to just be next to you or giving you affection, even when the other dogs are running around playing. She does play well with dogs of all sizes. Bonfire has an emotional intelligence, composure and confidence about her that is seldom found in a young pup. Absolutely zero aggression or insecurity.
Trained pup! Skip the puppy hassles.
***She is fully crate trained and will go to her crate with the door open when she gets tired during the day. She is potty trained, walks on a loose leash, sits when we stop walking, and knows the obedience commands: sit, down, stand, come, leave it, touch, kiss on command, inside, outside, wait at the door when I open it, and sleeps in her crate all night.
She has been raised on a puppy curriculum that includes ENS, ESI, daily intentional handling in various positions, exposed to hundreds of sights, sounds, smells and household items, many of which would startle or scare other dogs. She’s had daily enrichment items to help build confidence and problem solving skills. She has also had weekly car rides since 3 days old, now it’s 2-4 car rides per week. (No sickness in a car, she loves car rides). She is well conditioned to grooming due to weekly nail trims since 10 days old. Grooming with baths, blow drying and grooming sheers started at 4 weeks old.
Bonfire has been socialized in public, with children, the elderly and other dogs of all sizes. All of her vaccines are completed by a licensed Veterinarian with a full head to tail health check. Dewormed regularly as a preventative. Has had two negative fecals for worms and parasites. All health records from the vet with vaccination barcode labels will be provided.
She is THERAPY DOG or SERVICE DOG prospect. Extremely human focused, great eye contact, very calm, affectionate, confident around other animals and in public. But she will also make a great companion pet.
I can do some additional training if going as a service dog prospect. Such as Place, Cover, Tuck.
4 months old as of 2/18/26, she weighs 11 lbs and is still small enough to be transported by airplane using a private pet nanny.
Parents are OFA certified on hips, elbows, patella and cardiac. They are DNA genetic tested through Embark. (Sire is completely clear of all 250+ canine health risks and dam has one copy of IVDD which is not a diagnosis and she is unaffected.)
Bonfire color traits are ee, BB, KBKB, atat, SSp.
So why do I have her at this age?
1. I always hold back 1-3 pups for additional training and my puppy curriculum is 12 weeks long.
2. I have wanted to keep her for my program but at this time I do not have a suitable stud for her since she is a miniature size in the red color.
Price is for Pet/Companion placement with NO Breeding rights.
