About Mitchell
Disabled veteran, spent years trying to get another service dog but any breed suitable was financially out of reach. I had to put down my 18 year old service dog, he got poisoned at a rv park, didnt recover. That same day got a call from a contact that new a breeder who lost his wife and had a heart atack. So I went there and got red,a male pup. Then 2 years later saw there was a free red lab female, emaciated and abused the breeder was getting rid of, just a pup. She bonded right with red. They cant be by each other but rather on the same tether on a line. I always said since getting red if I got a opportunity to help vets I would. I got 2 pups of this litter giving away to vets. And will be selling 5, keeping 2 females. I am not a fan of breeding but the lack of trainable dogs at affordable prices is why I am doing this. I have met many fellow vets over the years talk of getting a service dog, many spent time with me and saw a improvement being around my old dog. But they can't afford $1500 to pay for a dog. My goal is to try to bridge that gap. I dont have no idea how I am going to pull this off but having faith and jumping into the unknown.
